March 26 marks two Beethoven anniversaries: On this day 245 years ago, in 1778, Ludwig van Beethoven gave his first public performance; on March 26, 1827, Beethoven died in Vienna.
Together with the Beethoven-Haus Bonn and the Bürger für Beethoven (Citizens for Beethoven), we are honoring this day, which is special from two points of view, with a concert to which Filippo Gorini has been invited!
Gorini, who is also a laureate of the Beethovenring of the Bürger für Beethoven, will give a talk-concert in the chamber music hall of the Beethoven-Haus Bonn, in which he will present works by Beethoven as well as "The Art of Fugue" by Johann Sebastian Bach, a work which Gorini has illuminated anew from many facets with his multimedia project "The Art of Fugue explored" with various artistic personalities.
