Have you ever try Laos 🇱🇦Coffee? Here are things that you might want to know👌

🍀The vast majority of Laos coffee is grown in Bolaven Plateau in the south of Laos, which is located at altitude of 800-1350 meters above sea level. The combination of volcanic soils🏜, monsoon rain🌧 and waterfalls make this area ideal for growing coffee.

👍The special ingredients added to the beans during roasting are tamarind seeds and sugar - this gives the coffee a sweetish sour note and makes it black when brewing.

💯The coffee is boiled, then filtered through a fabric filter into the glass with 2 teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk on the bottom of the glass. Stir well before drinking.

☕If you would prefer a coffee without condensed milk and sugar, let’s order a kąa-féh dąm. A baw sai nâm-tąan is coffee without sugar and Òh-lîang is iced coffee with sugar and condensed milk.

🍀The coffee is typically grown in the highlands like Lam D**g, Dak Lak, Dak Nong,...which are known as the basalt soil areas. The weather and soil conditions there are perfect for growing coffee.

✅The main portion of Vietnamese coffee is robusta, which is famous for its high caffeine content and bitter profile.

☕️Vietnamese coffee is known for having a dark roast and a strong taste. This is because the beans are roasted on low heat for fifteen minutes and then put into a filter. The coffee then starts to slowly drip through.
