To say that it's outstanding is to say nothing. Congratulations to all the students, parents and teachers on the amazing (again!) IB (International Baccalaureate) exams results! 👏🥳 High above the world average for the 7th consecutive year in a row - thank you (and especially our IB coordinator Ms Dodd) for all your hard work, it was all worth it in the end!! 🤗🥹

Our Judo club members have been working hard towards their final test and end of year exam. Many students received their first belt, which was either level 1 yellow&white or level 2 yellow. Two of our older students received their level 3 belt of orange & white.

Congratulations too all members of the Judo club for their hard work, discipline and perseverance for the whole year! 🤗

Our Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh International Award students are departing for their Expeditions! Let’s wish them all well as they navigate with only a map and compass to their campsites. They will be self-sufficient for the next few days carrying all food, tents and equipment required! 👏😁

Following the German tradition of giving children a Schultüte (a cone filled with staples and small gifts) on their first day of school, we invited parents to creating one for their children last week: look at the results and last year's photo! 😍🤗

With spring upon us, there are plenty of new things to re-discover and identify in the outdoors. Outdoor Education students take part in scavenger hunts to observe some of these seasonal changes and use their skills to sketch and identify flora and fauna around the MSF community 😁🌱

Our Middle School Girls Volleyball Team started their season with an impressive game against FIS Wiesbaden. They showed amazing teamwork and determination after losing the first set, and bouncing back to take the last 2 sets for the win! GO FOXES!! 👏🤩🦊

Today our Grade 11 IB Environmental Systems and Societies class took a guided tour highlighting the efforts to help endangered species at Frankfurt Zoo. Some animals discussed were South American Spectacled Bears, Sumatran Tigers, African Wild Dogs, Gibbons, Golden Tamarins, Kiwis, Orangutans, and Bonobos. Frankfurt Zoo really does a lot of things to help these species improve their IUCN Red List status! 😀👏

MSF parent initiative Safely Digital will host a Coffee Morning - the first roundtable for MSF parents concerned about digital safety and sanity for their children. Sharing views, discussing strategies, and building alliances is the purpose of the meeting. Come join on April 29 at 8:30 in the MSF cafeteria!

Besides the invite to the meeting, the MSF Safely Digital alliance also informed us about an upcoming event (German only however) hosted by a parent association named „Smarter Start ab 14“ - an alliance for parents from all over Germany who are committed to delaying ownership of smart devices for their children to the age of 14. Their motto: First smart, then phone 😊 On Thursday, April 25, a best selling author and digital expert will provide practical advice for parents on how to walk the line as chaperones for kids in the digital age. Look them up if you are interested! 🤗

Still not a part of the MSF community? Would you like to join but don't know where to start? Join us for a live session with the director, principals and our admissions manager to know more about the school and ask your questions! 😊👍

In their current unit, "Investigating Materials," the kindergarten Frogs class had an enjoyable experiment today. They participated in a Raw Egg Drop experiment at school as a STEM activity. The objective was for the students, with their parents' help at home, to design a mechanism using various materials, usually recyclables, to protect a raw egg from a high fall at school. The class discussed about each construction and found out which materials the students had used to make them with their parents. We were amazed to see how much the students already knew about materials and their properties. The activity was not a competition, and there were no winners or losers. The students had a great time and made good memories together! 😍

Congratulations to our Grade 6 student Batu Eichner! At the Kalbach Track & Field indoor district championships last weekend, Batu claimed the 1st place in the 3 Discipline Battle (60m sprint, long jump, and shot put). On the weekend he also competed in the Hoch Taunus district competition and came in 3rd for the 800m run, with a 2 mins 44 sec finish. Well done Batu, hard work and determination pay off! 🤗👏

Our Grade 4 and 5 students attended the 2nd AGIS Young Leaders Conference at Bonn International School on Saturday. This initiative was piloted by MSF last year with the idea to rotate the conference every year at various AGIS schools. The students had a great time completing activities, enjoying the tips from the keynote speaker, Agnes Cserhati, and brainstorming ideas on empowering change within their school through reflecting on various leadership skills! 😎

Congratulations to our Grade 11 student Adrian Keller on becoming the Southwest German U21 Champion!
The 17-year-old Adrian was the youngest participant in the U21 junior class at the Southwest German Judo Championships at the weekend. Although he could only have been an outsider due to his age, Adrian won the tournament confidently and in the end with a spectacular final fight against his long-time competitor from the national squad. Adrian is now focusing on preparing for the German Championships in Frankfurt/Oder in three weeks' time. Adrian had already been invited to Kienbaum, the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center for Germany, this year, where the best German judo squad athletes train together for weeks under Olympic training conditions 🏋️

We still have 3 places in our additional ballet club! The club is led by our talented Grade 11 student Ella. She teaches ballet for Grades 1 and 2 for her CAS project. Ella studies classical dance at Ballettschule Anastasia Dirksen, with a focus on classical technique, repertoire and character dance. The photo is from the Applaus competition last October where she won third place with her Ballet Variation (Paquita Nr. 8) 😌🩰

Additionally, our team got second place overall and qualified for the Germany Final in Siegen on March 3, 2024. CIS International Accreditation is a rigorous school-wide evaluative process that measures alignment with internationally benchmarked standards and provides guidance for continuous improvement. Through their achievement of these standards, CIS-Accredited schools have been verified as delivering high-quality international education focused on the development of knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to prepare students as global citizens.

Thank you so much to all of you who have participated in the evaluation process - we not only made it but exceeded in so many domains! 🙏🥳🔥

Welcome to MSF!

MSF is exceptional. It is warm and welcoming. It provides an excellent international education to more than 650 students from 55 countries while maintaining a family-like atmosphere. Large enough to offer a wide selection of teaching and learning opportunities, MSF is small enough to feel like home. It offers a safe, caring, and inspiring environment for students to thrive as independent thinkers, discover their strengths and develop skills to succeed, learn about the world around them, enjoy extra-curricular activities, and form lasting friendships.

Our rigorous academic programmes and outstanding native-speaking teaching staff are our recipe for delivering the highest quality education possible. This is evidenced by a 100% IB Diploma pass rate, with an average score of 33 points and the highest score of 43 points (45 is the maximum). The 2019 IGCSE results were also outstanding with 100% of our students achieving A*-C in five or more IGCSE subjects.

We understand that an individual’s academic progress and personal achievements depend on the strength of the partnership between the teacher, student, and parents. That is why MSF works hard on fostering these relationships in order for each student to realise his or her potential.

Our Welcoming Committee run by MSF parent volunteers helps new MSF families quickly integrate into the school community and local area and provide support through culture coordinators to ease the transition to a new home. The parent class representatives and the Friends of MSF organise events throughout the year to strengthen community ties and celebrate internationalism and diversity.

MSF continues to grow and thrive, and we welcome you to become a member of our vibrant, engaged, and caring community.
