My nervous system has been in a state of stress for years and now I can finally just be🙏. Oh, how I appreciate just being and breathing. I have taken the last few weeks at my own pace. I haven't put painting first, but my recovery and taking care of myself.

Breathing and calming down have been an important part of the daily routine. It has also been so enjoyable to paint new works and build the stories around them. When you paint an abstract style, you will find different kinds of faces, figures, or ghosts in the painting. As I posted the reel of this painting, my aunt commented that she sees a child's face on it looking to the left. Like the side profile. Yes, now I see it too and it started to bother me so much that I had to fix it🙈 I added some texture paste to change the form. Now I'm waiting for it to try and hopefully, it removes the face 😅 It looked like a demonic child. Omg 😅😂😱😳 Swipe left to see the second photo with that face. Horrible!

I've been so out of order (=tired) the last few days that I forgot to post this for Halloween 😅 Whatever, it's not that serious.

With this post, I wish you a cosy November season✨️. Call me weirdo 🤪, but I love to wake up to the darkness. I used to hate it in Finland but started to love it in Germany. I just enjoy the silence with coffee on the balcony when the rest of the world still sleeps. Living in the big city is so much noise and daily hassle that this morning routine has become very precious to me 😍❤️

If you are a darkness hater, try this method to change your attitude. It's just about finding the right mindset😅

What a relief! Yesterday was my last day at work. Full of emotions and tears💖🎹. My head is still processing this all, it feels so unbelievable that it's over now and I can focus fully on my art as a full-time artist. It was great 11 years building the best pianos possible. The 16th and also the last one of the series: Colors of Life. This is the black sheep of the series. I planned to make the whole series with colors and it was only 2 days ago, I had to paint over the last one (which was originally pink) and do the black sheep that pops out from the others. It was this inner screaming saying: do it!! I love how it turned out and how this closes the chapter for this series. Keep reading my thoughts about it. I know, it's a long text to post 😅. I used different gold which is a bit bronze/gold tone. Also forgot to take detail photos🙈

The symbolism of black and gold together can reflect how there are many shades and stages in life. Black perhaps represents those difficult times or challenges, while gold can represent those moments of success and great achievements. I have never painted a yellow painting. I sure like yellow but somehow it just doesn't fit to my color palette. So I wanted to give a try with these small artworks. I can finally reveal a big announcement that I have been promising for a long time. If you remember my recent post from June.

So, here it comes: I'm leaving my main job at the end of October to start being a full-time artist! This decision has been a long and painful process to go through. As a single mum, it is not easy to jump from a familiar and secure financial situation into the unknown. But the pieces started to fall into place and now it's time for a new start.

I don't know what the future will bring, but I believe that when you go towards your own dreams with an open heart and are honest with yourself, you cannot fail. I am in balance with myself when I can do what feels right to me. I have been given an artistic gift and I feel that I must share it with the world.

I'm not afraid anymore, I trust my heart that the decision was right. Come what may, I will never regret this decision. In those moments when my confidence in myself begins to waver, I say these words: God will show you the way. There is so much power in this sentence🙏. And always keep in mind my mother's best advice to me: be brave!

I did the very first canvas from the beginning. A bit scary but not that difficult at all. The size is 90x140cm so it was too difficult to find and I don't trust some random art supply shops. I can be sure these are of professional quality and made by German carpenters. I'm happy to say I can do it now.

Do you buy ready canvas or make them by yourself? The price is like half of it to make by yourself. It's worth it especially with the 2cm thick canvas.

I got this saved from the trash 🗑. I will do at some point some kind of a recycled sculpture of it. I have heard from many people that I look like a doll. Never really understood why people see me like that until this came 😂😂😂😂 OK, yes might be true 😅🙈.

I'm so excited about my current commissions, as are my cats😂. The first painting is nearly finished and the second one is about to start. Already got the floating frames for the new piece to wait 🤩 I feel absolutely thrilled about this!

My art comes from the heART ❤️ Having a studio like this, feels like I'm on the right path doing my soul mission.

I just wanted to quickly try out the new acrylic gold paint for small parts. The situation got way out of hand and I then painted over the whole painting 🙈😅 Can't regret it, what's done it's done 🤣🤷‍♀️

I have to say that I love this gold tone. See the 2nd pic. The beauty is hard to get in photos. But as it is a spray, it's not so practical for me to use. I need to find my tricks. 

Finding harmony in contrasts. The vibrant painting injects personality into the space, ensuring it's anything but boring.
