🎉 Introducing Mario, the man who went from driving 🚗 to thriving, and now holds court as our esteemed Store Manager in Hamburg! 👑

During his beginnings as a driver, Mario was more than just a chauffeur. He became the gatekeeper of orders 📋, the guardian of packing lists, and the ruler of logistics 📦. His attention to detail was so legendary that even the warehouse shelves straightened up when he walked by🫡

But if you ask him about photography 📷 or filmmaking 🎥, he shrugs his shoulders with a smile: “I never studied that, but I’m all ears!” His dedication at 711rent led him to independently acquire knowledge about all our equipment over the years.

Now, as our Store Manager, Mario’s mastery of multitasking is more vital than ever. He’s the maestro orchestrating our rental symphony 🎼 - and rumor has it, he still finds time to enjoy a well-deserved beer 🍺 after a hard day of work.

So here’s to Mario, one of the driving forces behind our store’s success, the wizard of warehousing 🧙‍♂️, and the captain of customer care. Long may he reign over our shelves and our hearts!❤️

Meet Harlon Haveland, Gaffer and business man who together with DoP James Friend BSC ASC, lead the Aputure’s lighting
Lighting masterclasses, supported by 711rent.

Haveland started his Film career as an Actor in front of the camera inspired by a whole family of Film Industry workers.

He discover his new passion on a Film set next to the electricians, and started his shining career on the lighting dept.

As a transformative point in his career, he highlighted discovering the Aputure LS 600c.

“I was immediately impressed by the brightness, the size, weight and colour spectrum of the light, you can control everything from a desk, change colors, intensity, everything" Haveland said on an article published on the British Cinematographer magazine.

Haveland introduced the LS 600c to James, and he loved what it could do and how it speeded up things.

Many attendees in the Aputure Flex Munich got the chance to get hands-on with our top lighting Aputure kits in the masterclasses hosted by Haveland and Friend.
