Andris Nelsons returns to the Salzburger Festspiele with the Wiener Philharmoniker. As part of the resident orchestra's series of orchestral concerts, Nelsons will conduct two matinee concerts of Mahler's epic 9th symphony. The concerts will take place on 10/11 August at 11:00am 🎼🎻🎶
Nelsons will also appear in this year's "Philharmonic Salon", a series of artist talks taking place in the Great Hall of the University of Salzburg on 9 August.

🎻This month, phenomenal violinist Augustin Hadelich returns to Australia and New Zealand for a series of thrilling projects.
Australia Highlights:
▪ Sydney Symphony Orchestra: Enjoy four performances of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto under the baton of Simone Young at the iconic Sydney Opera House from 7-10 August.
▪ Recital: On 13 August, Hadelich performs a solo programme featuring works by Bach, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, David Lang and Ysaÿe.
▪ Chamber Music Project: Returning to Sydney on 15 August, Hadelich leads a chamber music project with musicians of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, including a regional tour with pieces by Shostakovich and Joseph Bologne de Saint-Georges.

Upcoming programs include soloists like Renée Fleming, Yuja Wang, Augustin Hadelich, Emanuel Ax, Yefim Bronfman, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and Paul Lewis.
