✨ISTANBUL MODERN✨ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Fielitz GmbH team is immensly proud to become a part of the RPBW’s first project in Türkiye “Istanbul Modern” - the museum of modern and contemporary art, located on the Karaköy waterfront, one of Istanbul’s most historical districts, where the Bosphorus and Golden Horn meet.

Above the transparent ground level, the building’s skin is made by a sequence of 3D-formed aluminum panels which play with the changing sunlight. Reflections bouncing from the waterfront create a play of light and shadow.

Using our unique 3D-fluid-forming technology, we were able to manufacture these special 3D-plates in order to turn the architekt’s vision into reality

🏡✨ Presenting iconic "Camouflage House" in Ottmarshausen near Augsburg, Germany✨🏡 ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​With it's innovative design this simply shaped yet highly recyclable tiny house, stands as a testament to sustainable living. Constructed primarily from timber, this compact private residence boasts a remarkable 87% recyclability rate.

But what truly sets it apart is its facade - stunning 3D shaped stainless steel panels that seamlessly blend with and mirror the picturesque surroundings.

Aluminum dune façade ☁️​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​In close cooperation with the Zieser architects‘ office in Vienna, a three-dimensional dune landscape was created by using perforated, 3 mm aluminum with a newly developed nacreous lacquer finish from HD Wahl.​​​​​​​​
The individual, almost 3 m² large motor-powered sun protection panels surround the entire building.​​​​​​​​
Despite the three-dimensional design, we were able to create harmonious fold-backs on all four sides.​​​​​​​​
The aluminum plates gain additional rigidity through their three-dimensional pattern and the 4-sided foldings. ​​​​​​​​

Could Metal replace Marble? 🤔​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The impressive façade of FENDI‘s supersized flagship store at Tokyo‘s famous Ginza 6 mimics the Fashion Brands HQ “Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana“ in Rome, Italy.

Everyone, who has seen the original building in Italy, knows about the impressive white marble arches. To create a similar look but also be more cost effective and sustainable, the arches were made out of 3D fluid-formed metal and coated with a surface finish in marble stone optics.

Our special forming technique allows recreating popular marble and terracotta shapes in metal, as a reliable and durable alternative for façade projects 👌

Sparkling highlight of Tournhouts new city quarter Turnova - 3D plate Dune small

In the centre of Turnhout, right near the Grote Markt, lies the former Brepols site. This 4 ha terrain used to house the Brepols printing works. It is now a brand new city quarter: Turnova.
It holds 250 residences (single family houses, apartments, lofts and service flats) and about 40 shops, along with a new music academy, a four star hotel and an underground car park. Three squares each with their own atmosphere reinforce the heart of the town.
Together with the pubs, the restaurants and the terraces, Turnova gives the centre of Turnhout a new dimension. Each part of the zone had its own architects. B-architecten designed the part de Schakel consisting of 30 apartments, the underground car park holding 480 places, a big commercial plinth course of about 11.000 m² and a 72 m high tower with apartments, offices, restaurants and pubs and a public roof terrace.
