Thank you for the great Opening!!!

Claus Georg Stabe | dub
until May, 25
Here — > Claus Georg Stabe
Collages made from identical lithographs
Claus Stabe’s motifs are usually reflexive and multi-layered. He does not emphasize a specific motif, but rather facets, appearances, states and derivations. When the motif appears to be a landscape, for example, he always tries to reflect on the image itself, its representation, possibilities, genesis and also its limitations. Much actually comes from the landscape and its alienation.

LAST CHANCE!
MATT DILLON – Naturama | MARCEL HÜPPAUFF – Against Creativity
The exhibition shows paintings, works on paper and editions by the two artists. The artists will be present. The exhibition can be seen until January 6, 2024
In 2019 actor/ artist Matt Dillon (*1964 in New Rochelle, NY) and painter Marcel Hüppauff (*1972 in Stuttgart) started their artistic collaboration. In irregular intervals, in Hamburg, Rom or New York, side by side at the studio, from afar over the phone. The collaboration involves a continuous exchange about their own works and goes even further, their respective handwriting is transcended in jointly created paintings.
The artist book „Naturama | Against Creativity“ presents linocuts by Matt Dillon and Marcel Hüppauff that were also conceived in a mutual, collective process. They take you on a sentimental journey to a post-pop, apocalyptic world.
