Liebe Fusion Community,
das , eines der wichtigsten Fachmagazine für elektronische Musik im deutschsprachigen Raum, braucht unsere Hilfe! Seit 35 Jahren, also quasi seit den Anfängen von House und Techno in Deutschland, berichtet das Magazin über die Szene – und begleitet dabei auch die Clubkultur, die uns allen so wichtig ist.

Nun steht das Medium erstmals ohne Verlag da, wird aber von einem engagierten Kreis aus 60 ehemaligen und aktiven Redakteur*innen fortgeführt! Gegründet wurde dafür der „Verein für Technojournalismus“. Da sich dieser nicht allein durch Event-Werbung finanzieren kann, braucht es eine Community, der die GROOVE am Herzen liegt – und hier kommen wir ins Spiel.

Katermukke invites! On Saturday the 14th of September, the Berlin based cult label will return to Münster, bringing along none other than Chief Kater Dirty Doering and rising newcomer AVA Irandoost. Last year these two tore Dockland apart at the Kanello Galore Closing. Now the much-anticipated showcase returns to the sacred halls of Fusion with top-notch support by our resident DJs Marco Mesem and Steve Stix. MARK REEVE is a guest at the Fusion Club for the first time. His tour calendar is so full that it has never been possible before and now the time has finally come. The TAGERAVER collective from Cologne is hosting the legendary Basement again this night with an official hard techno lineup consisting of a total of 6 DJs. Get excited for a wild descent, because the accelerator pedal is floored right from the start. 🔥

Our insanely talented and partly legendary local DJs will have a platform that goes beyond just warm-up and closing sets to musically delight you.

Liebe Docklands und Fusion Freunde,
mit großer Bestürzung und Trauer haben wir Montag vom Unfalltod des langjährigen Acid Wars und somit auch Fusion DJs Jochen Peuyn a.k.a. Sorgenkint gehört. Er hat sich nach seinem Docklands Gig mit Freunden auf den Rückweg gemacht, auf dem es dann zum folgenschweren Unfall kam. Nach Rücksprache mit seinem engen Freund und Acid Wars Gründer Alex P. Jäger, der seit Montag im Austausch mit Jochens Familie steht, haben wir uns dazu entschlossen, erst dann ein Statement zu veröffentlichen, wenn dies von der Familie gewünscht ist. In dieser schweren Zeit bitten wir darum, die Privatspäre der Familie und seiner engsten Freund*innen zu respektieren und sprechen allen Angehörigen unser tiefstes Beileid aus.

Lieber Jochen, Du warst seit über 20 Jahren ein fester Bestandteil der Fusion Geschichte und vor allem ein großartiger Mensch, der uns unendlich fehlen wird.
