Sometimes a little bit of planning can go a long way. Whether you're on vacation, visiting a new city, or live on a completely different continent (like me), it's not always easy to find fresh, healthy, food. I didn't want to give up on eating out just because I don't feel like eating Bavarian food all the time!! Just doing a little research beforehand can help you find places that are healthy & delicious, and make eating out an enjoyable experience, knowing you can have fun and still stay on track

If you've ever "fallen off the wagon," no need to worry. We've all been there... the question is, what now? With spring right around the corner, NOW is the perfect time to focus on your fitness goals and get recommitted to achieving them. Here's 3 easy ways to get back into the right frame of mind:

1) Focus on how great it feels to push yourself. The reason I fell in love with exercise in the first place was because of how great it made me feel- the physical changes were a bonus. When you challenge yourself in a positive way, you will begin to focus more on enjoying the internal benefits (a better mood, more energy, etc.) that you receive immediately after each workout, rather than only focusing on achieving those 6 pack abs. Enjoy the process!

2) Go with the flow. Just like the seasons change, your body and fitness level will constantly be changing. Somedays you might feel inclined to go for a heart-pumping run, other days you might want to work on building more muscle, or doing a yoga-flow. It's good to have goals, as well as a plan to help you get there- just make sure you listen to your body at the same time. Usually what makes you feel the best, will also get you the results you are looking for.

3 )The most important thing is the relationship you have with your body. Results and good habits come much more effortlessly when you focus on what you CAN do, how far you've come, and that exercise is just a tool to help you live a healthy, vibrant life.
