The yarn of our Premium Merinos is also called ‘Geelong’. Geelong is a region in Australia where wool spinners have managed to spin the silky belly fur of merino lambs into yarn so fine that it resembles that of the cashmere goat.

IQ Wool – our „smart quality“. The science behind our IQ Wool technology is the combination of cotton and wool fibres. The wool fibre centre integrates the temperature-regulating and warming features in the yarn. These are complemented by the resistant and breathable characteristics of the coating cotton fibre. IQ Wool is perfect for people who appreciate the characteristics of wool but do not want to feel it directly on their skin.

Our products are made from baby alpaca wool. Contrary to what the name suggests, it comes from adult alpacas and describes the fluff under the “outer” wool layer of the alpaca. It is much finer than “classic” alpaca wool and therefore even softer and fluffier.

Peruvian alpaca wool is more durable, temperature-regulating and thermally isolating than sheep's wool. The reason for this is that it originates from the Andes, where alpacas are confronted with extreme temperature changes and have had to learn to adapt to these conditions.
