JUKI Automation Systems GmbH

Weptech elektronik GmbH is a leading company in the development and production of innovative technologies and systems for wireless communication, antenna design, antenna measurement and radio system certification. Established in 1994 in Landau, in der Pfalz, JUKI has been quipping their production facilities since 1998. Last year, Weptech elektronik GmbH had the need to extend their production site again, and they built another hall, located closeby.

JUKI is proud to have been appointed as the supplier for a G-Titan screen printer JUKI SPI and three JUKI RS-1R pick and place solutions as well as the handling solutions for the new line. Furthermore, the existing production line was changed and upgraded with fife JUKI RS-1 pick and place solutions and two G-Titan screen printers integrated into the existing production line.
We took the opportunity to visit the top-notch production sites in Rhineland-Palinate, Germany, and met with Oswald Maurer, CEO of Weptech elektronik GmbH.

Asked about the reasons for their decision for JUKI, he said: ‘Our experience with JUKI over the years has been very positive. The machines have proven to run very stable, and from pre-sales counselling through the technical realisation of the project, everything runs smoothly. We are very happy to continually offer our customers at highest quality standards with our extended production capacities.’

Excited, excited, excited! Today the all new mounter LX-8 from JUKI has arrived here at the European headquarters. We are going to showcast it at the upcoming SMTconnect tradeshow.

What an innovation! Interchangeable head units and adaptable line configuration allows optimization for maximum cycle rate for ANY product mix.

At an operator level, the heads can be changed according to the production mix. The LX-8 can be adapted to the production with:

🪐🪐 two high-speed P20 planet heads (20 nozzle rotary head, ideal for high-speed placements of ultra small chips, small ICs and LEDs)
🪐💎 one high-speed P20 planet head + one latest Takumi (master) head for ultra-high speed + greater flexibility
💎💎 two latest Takumi (master) heads for high-speed flexibility

We have taken our show room to the next level and have enhanced our full production line by the latest and most comprehensive intelligent material handling and storage management solution. Our show room at our European headquarters in Nuremberg is the first of its kind world-wide equipped to this extent, including the latest single tray storage tower, AGVs, X-ray component counter.

🟦 We have also worked on our organisational structure. Since last year, some of our colleagues have taken on management responsibilities. All of our middle management team members have years of hands-on experience at JUKI, and know our customers and their requirements very well. Thereby, we reinforce our mission to be partner of greatest value, understanding our clients' needs, and collaborating most efficiently.
