drops his first own EP "Lucid Dream" on Clouds Records. The three original tracks tell a story about consciousness and subconsciousness. As the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred they merge and become one in the end. Floke takes his listeners to the border of subconscious with spherical sounds, driving beats and his characteristic melodies. The vocals are about the dynamic interplay of truth, deception, and reality.

CLOUDS005: Rise Of Apollon – Losing Gravity EP

With their debut EP Losing Gravity, Rise of Apollon continue with what they started with Odyssee, their first release as part of the first label compilation by Clouds Records.

Losing Gravity puts on display a wide array of Rise Of Apollon´s skillset while taking the listener on an unexpected journey with a bunch of musical twists and turns.

Spatially separated from each other due to the pandemic the duos music reflects on some darker facets of life. Five original tracks channel their passion for melancholic and driving music and establish a unique style within deep melodic techno. The EP comes complete with a pair of great remixes done by Innacircle and Denis Keiner.

Introducing: Rise Of Apollon

Rise Of Apollon consists of the Artists Mike Brückner and Marvin Jung from Germany. The duo personifies deep and melodic techno and with every set they showcase their versatility of production and provide insights into the diversity of their musical influences. During their university time in 2015, Mike and Marvin developed a great friendship and through their common love for electronic music, Rise Of Apollon was born. With a contemporary background in guitar and piano, their tracks are characterized by catchy melodies, combined with strong basslines and heavy drums. With a profound sense of the moment, their live sets are filled with tension and joy in order to transmit pure emotions and high levels of energy to the dancefloor.

We wanted to say thanks to all our supporters, friends and the whole Clouds Kollektiv for the crazy journey in the past years and for giving us the energy we needed to execute this project. It is hardly described in words how thankful we are to be surrounded by such amazing people!💙
We also thank all the artists on the compilation for contributing 10 wonderful tracks; with every single one having its own charme. Stratosphere I is an introduction of some of the artists we will be working with in the near future. Additionally, collaborations with interesting international artists are already in the pipeline.

DJ and producer Johannes Stefan Schmitz aka Roemisch 111 is a musical storyteller whose range starts with classical violin pieces and extends from there to the infinite expanses of the electronic music universe. One looks in vain for a fixed style with the 22-year-old: "I don't commit myself to a certain sound. As soon as a sound tells a story, it has me", Johannes Schmitz explains the reason for his musical openness. And that is exactly what makes his own productions so intense and exciting. "In my music, I set my feelings and thoughts to music. I tell stories that shape and have shaped my inner being. For me, it's the easiest way to express and reflect myself." Whether techno, house, ambient or electro does not play a major role for the musician - he is simply at home in all genres.
Born in 1998 into a musical family environment, he began violin lessons at the age of two and a half. He has remained faithful to his main instrument, the violin, to this day. Over the years, Johannes gains experience in solo performances and in symphony orchestras and his dream of a future as a professional musician slowly takes shape.
Another great passion blazed in Johannes Schmitz alongside classical music: the love of electronic dance music! Since then, as ROEMISCH 111, he wants to tell his own stories to the people on the dance floor - be it as DJ or producer. He wants to pick them up completely with his own music and maybe even let them grow a bit beyond themselves. Johannes Stefan Schmitz aka ROEMISCH 111 - a young artist with a lot of talent and great potential, from whom we are guaranteed to hear a lot more in the future

Our next artist is TonTerrasse from Trier, Germany. After several releases in the past three years he catched our attention through his unique sound; concise synths and catchy melodies are typical for his style. We are happy to have him on board for our Compilation as well as for an upcoming EP on Clouds Records which will be announced soon.

Denis Keiner has been able to develop his style continuously in the past few years. The DJ and producer from Saarbruecken defines his sound through driving basses, often paired with emotionally charged lead sounds and catchy melodies, whereby his inclination to the dark and mystical, always has a strong influence on it. Melodic Techno is most likely to hit the spot, although he doesn't set himself any limits here either and likes to create and combine cross-genre sounds. He says, "As long as the music touches your heart, it is perfect. Everything else is secondary." Besides his releases on several local and supraregional labels he also works as an A&R at . Cooperations with other artists are currently the DJ's most important goal. He wants to "keep developing" as he says and the best way to do this is to learn from each other.

"Music is what unites us all. An incredible power. Something that even people who are otherwise different in everything else can have it in common. Music is also the ultimate constant. That's why we have such a strong, almost physical relationship to it."

Marc Erberich is a DJ and producer from Cologne, being intensively involved in the techno scene for more than 6 years with several gigs at local venues. While he is always looking for new inspirational influences, he experimented a lot in the past three years and found his main style between dreamy lead sounds, catchy melodies and a driving basslines.

Apollon is a group of electronic music producers & artists from Germany. The duo personifies deep and melodic techno. During the university time in 2015, Mike and Marvin developed a great friendship and through their common love for electronic music, Apollon was born. With a contemporary background in guitar and piano, their tracks are characterized by catchy melodies, combined with strong basslines and heavy drums. With a profound sense of the moment, their live sets are filled with tension and joy in order to transmit pure emotions and high levels of energy to the dancefloor.

Jojo Moa's productions describe the story of a night: the fragments of the bassline float above driving drums, carried by the ever-present synthesizer that never seems to let the tension end. Inspired by gigs in South America and the clubs of his adopted home Berlin, the melancholic sound of long past experiences and encounters resonates noticeably without losing itself in dreariness. Jojo Moa's sound paints the picture of a lived utopia: the freedom of ecstasy, the high of the morning after a night of dancing.

TONI is the next artist we would like to introduce to you. Besides his DJ residencies at the „Osthafen“ venues in his hometown Saarbruecken he also implements his musical ideas in the studio. After his first Release „Murie“ in 2020 he is now featured on Stratosphere I. His productions are inspired by dark, dystopian sounds and catchy synths. As a synth enthusiast his tracks always have enough space for his characteristic arpeggios. It is a pleasure for us to have him on board for our first label release.

Florian Rengshausen alias Rengs is a DJ and Producer from Cologne. As a Clouds Records in-house artist he is now releasing his first song on our label with more projects already in the making. The passion for underground techno and its specific sound captured the DJ from the beginning of his journey with music and producing when he was just 18 years old. To this day his records and mixtapes are highly influenced by dark and edgy sounds. In his first years in Cologne Rengs spent pursuing a training-on the-job as an Audio Designer to find his own style and sound of music and to professionalize his producing skills on a technical level. After he finished the program in the year 2020, his main focus now is to release his first own record with his very unique facets of sounds.

In the next two weeks we will introduce all artists that are featured on Stratosphere I to give you some biografical insights.

Let’s start off with one of our in-house artists Floke who has also been a major figure in the development of this project. Floke is a DJ and Producer of electronic music from Trier/Germany. In 2015 he started as a local DJ behind the decks and began to produce his own music three years later. In the past year his first EP „Porcellum“ was released and further ones are already in the pipeline. Influenced by several years of experience on the piano and the guitar, his tracks are always characterized by catchy melodic parts. Especially deep driving basslines, paired with long, dreamy and melodic breaks, ending up in a powerful drop are typical for Floke´s style. When playing in front of a crowd he always manages to become one with his audience, riding together on a wave of pure emotions and high energy.

V/A – Stratosphere I

We are entering the earth’s atmosphere and present our first official label release „Stratosphere I“. We are showcasing a high temperatured 10 track compilation with various passionate artists from Trier, Saarbruecken, Cologne and Berlin; supplying you with a high diversity of deep, melodic sounds – ranging from melancholic harmonies to driving basslines. Besides our in-house artists Apollon, Denis Keiner, Floke and Rengs, we welcome befriended artists Jojo Moa, Marc Erberich, Roemisch 111, TONI, TonTerrasse and Victor Pilava to the Clouds Records family.
