Sommertid betyder læsetid! Mangler du lidt inspiration til din sommerlæsning, så har Kirsten, Nanna og Mia fra Poesiens Bus lavet 6 programmer i Absalon Radio hvor de diskuterer aktuel dansk poesi og tidens nye digtudgivelser.

Programmet hedder 'Public Poesi Service' og kan findes som podcast i 'Absalon Radio' appen, eller der hvor du normalt finder podcast.

I dag kan du høre, hvordan det lød, da Absalon Radio besøgte ALICE cph under vores udforskning af Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2021.

Vi brugte et par timer i den hyggelige gård, hvor de har rykket festivalen ud under åben himmel. Denne dag var der koncert med den ægyptiske producer og musiker Maurice Louca, som vi fik en snak med om musikken, der har brændt stærkt i ham siden han samlede en guitar op som barn.

Vi snakkede også med Rasmus Steffensen. Han er en af ildsjælene bag Alice og var også en del af det tidligere Jazzhouse.

Absalon Radio er på Copenhagen Jazz Festival, og nu kan du høre første afsnit, hvor Alexander og Thomas besøger Musik Loppen, et historisk spillested, som bliver drevet af musikpassionerede mennesker. En af dem er Frederik Buur Rosbach, som vi tog en snak med ved et cafebord, imens hans kollegaer gjorde klar til aftenens koncert omkring os.

Det var blandt andet rockede Mythic Sunship, som spillede på Loppen samme aften, og dem fangede vi også ude bagved til en snak om deres musik og inspiration. Henrik Pultz Melbye og hans saxofon varmede Loppen op med en atmosfærisk solooptræden, der sendte os alle sammen både ud i universet og ind i os selv.

I rockens navn blev der knappet et par banko-bajere op, hvorefter Jacob () og Sigurd (), som er rygraden i Woodpecker, tog os med på en rejse igennem dem og deres musik. Vi dykker ned i historien, der startede i Greve på den lokale Bodega. Det er en historie om to gode venner der har rejst sammen igennem musikken og livet. Vi lytter til deres musik imens vi snakker om deres inspirationer og så ringer vi til Jacobs Gudfar, Den Skaldede Kok (), & spørger ham hvorfor han aldrig gav drengene den warm up koncert på Amager Bio som han lovede de to drømmende teenagere.

Caroline Soelver is a native Dane that became a native New Yorker. Her husband and her run a hygge cafe in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn correctly named "Skål," where they serve smørrebrød for free to anyone that can correctly pronounce it. The two originally met in Berlin so we set down to talk about the similarities and differences between the 3 cities. Caroline is a blogger and writer. You can follow her er and the restaurant .

Vivi is planto-mamma and together with us at Absalon she offers advice and tips on how to keep your greens green in "Plant-AID". In this episode, we learn how to move your plants from soil to leca. DIY:
Leca is the acronym for Lightweight expanded clay aggregate. When you have your plants in leca you can’t over-water and the risk of pests it’s way lower.

1. Have the leca ready. It needs to be soaked, rinsed of dust, boiled for 10 min and then rinsed again to make sure there’s no dust or dirt left.

2. Carefully remove the plant from the soil.

3. Try and remove as much dirt from the roots as possible using your hands. Use gloves as the soil from some plants can be harmful to your skin.

4. Run room temperature water over the roots to efficiently remove more soil. Not too cold and not too warm, to avoid shocking, freezing or boiling the roots.

5. Add leca balls to the glass container so that they fill up 1/3 of the pot.

6. Add water just until the top of the leca balls.

7. Move the plant inside the pot, and make sure that the water level is below the roots to risk root rot. The moisture is going to regulate by itself and the roots are going to sip and get as much water as they need.

8. Now that you have just moved your plant in leca, you’ll have to check the roots every week, and if any becomes mushy then remove it. It’s normal because the plant it’s getting rid of the soil roots and growing new water roots.

Until the root system had changed, I only gave the plant tap water. After a while, when the root system developed, and established in the pot, I started giving it water with fertilizer for plants in water.

Make a big bottle with fertilizer and refill the pot when the plant needs. And maybe once a month flush the water.
