Hello all! We preparing the online premiere of YOU CAN DO IT! - a 30-minute digital dance performance based on the stage performance SURVIVORS, that can be experienced anywhere in the world.
The premiere is tomorrow August 26 at 19:00 CET, and there will be a second show on August 27 at 19:00 CET. Duration of the performance is a 30min.

Wherever you are in the world, you have the opportunity to participate in YOU CAN DO IT! online world premiere on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of August at 7 pm CEST.

YOU CAN DO IT! is a 30-minute digital dance performance created by two dance film makers Taneli Törmä and Maia Elisabeth Sørensen.

I really want to show you something. Or tell you something. Or maybe I should know what I want to show and tell you? Maybe you can tell me how I should feel and what I should tell you, when I am doing this movement?

Two actors go through a long poetic work out separately. Live stream performance brings the spectator step by step, count by count, into a manic workout universe. Why do they wear themselves out and whom are they doing it for?

YOU CAN DO IT! is based on the stage performance SURVIVORS by Taneli Törmä - LOCATION X and the independent theatre group Studio Total (Helsinki)

Do you have plans after Easter? Last change to see SURVIVORS performance in Denmark! SURVIVORS will be presented at Bora Bora, Århus on 20th of April.

SURVIVORS, a dance performance for two actors, invites the audience into tragicomic loop that pursues the all too human feeling of constantly wearing oneself out without really knowing why and for whom.

Choreographer Taneli Törmä’s movement together with actor-director Anna Lipponen’s text creates a 60-minutes long poetical marathon. The spoken word set the body in motion while the dynamics of the moving body inflates the words with a new meaning.

A parallel monologue between the two actors brings the audience step by step into a manipulative landscape.
