Just finished in leftover mohair 💓

I just wanted to give the cardigan two quality options and this is the Kid silk mohair & Angel lace version. This one could be knitted with ombré or in one color. The same goes with the Wild version 🙏🏻

I just received the clips from and they are now available online. The clips give options for your knitting, as you can remove the buttons off your clothes if you want to wash them in your washing machine. You can also remove them easily and change them out with other ones, just to pimp up your knits. No sewing needed 🧵 🪡

What is so amazing about Angel lace….?

1. Angel lace is perfect to knit along with other dull (not hand dyed) yarns, just to give a hint of color and add some playfulness to you knits. Just have in mind that the thin lace yarns adds around 0.5 - 1 mm to you tension.

2. It’s perfect alternative to Kid silk mohair. Did you know that most people that have allergies to wool, are mostly allergic to mohair? You should also NEVER knit anything for babies and newborns in mohair. Confusing right? There are so many knitwear designers that add kid silk mohair as yarn alternative in their knitwear patterns for babies and newborns. But their small lungs are so fragile and are not able to cough up the small hairs that fall off the mohair. Angel
Lace is the perfect alternative to kid silk mohair. The soft merino and silk blend is not only perfect to touch but also breathable and comfortable for the small ones.

3. There is no third. If 1 and 2 didn’t sell the yarn itself, then I hope the new colors will do the trick.

Have you ever bought some yarn that you found so pretty? But didn’t have a plan of what to make… and you constantly put off making something out of it, because you don’t have enough for a hole project?

Fade in fair isle can be an excellent way to put those one pot wonder into play 👊🏻

I recommend finding some yarn with some similar shades to fade into.

This can also be a great way to use your leftover yarns, if they have the same gauge 👯‍♀️

I used the print from as inspiration to merge the two hanks together. I knitted around 15 rows in total and the key is to allow the color you have been knitting with to dominate the first few rows and there after you can start mixing it more together. In the end the new color will be more dominant as you knit, or until the first color dyes out.

I hope this inspires you to get cracking with some one hit wonders that are collecting dust in your knitting stash 💫

Just for your info, just to share how grateful I am ❤️ my previous account both Instagram & Facebook was hacked during Christmas 2021 and I was never able to gain it back. I lost tremendous amount of valuable pictures, both my children but I have also used Instagram as my portfolio. My profile is such a huge platform for me to connect with like minded people and costumers. So it was a huge set back after quitting my job to go full time as knitwear designer.

I haven’t really worn this one since I finished it a year ago. But the weather in Copenhagen is definitely screaming light knits so I used this perfect opportunity to wear it.

Knitting in Wild alpaca with col Lore & Brownie.

I’m still wondering how to finish on the sides and hemline. Should I take the easy way, by picking stitches on from the sides and knitting the rib horizontal with a quick long tail cast on. Or should I knit the rib vertically onto the jacket…. The first one is more easy and beginner friendly, the other one is better quality but more time consuming and might scare off new knitters

That and how to execute the button holes… 🤔🤯
