We’ve been busy in the studio turning an old cutter quilt into the cutest doll jackets.

I designed our tooth fairy doll with the intention of sparkling a bit of magic on one of the big milestones of childhood; the loss of a tooth. With the little front pocket, the doll can be used as a cute way to deliver a lost tooth to the tooth fairy, or simply as a part of your child’s collection of natural toys

Our little shop is now restocked with lots of news, including dolls dressed in new colors of knitwear and tooth fairies in different prints. All ready for lots of summer adventures ♥️

Our waldorf inspired dolls are made in natural material and produced by hand by talented artisan women in the Peruvian mountains. Because we believe kids should play with toys that inspire to role play and imagination and that toys can be passed down to siblings or saved as an heirloom.

During these last few months I’ve had to make some changes to my company, which has left me with less time and unfortunately this means that I’ve had to postpone our next release to Saturday June 1st at 5pm EST time. On the positive side that means, that we can have extra many cute things available for you ♥️

I designed the Mini for my youngest daughter, with the intention of making her a doll which was small enough to fit in a pocket or the smallest bag but with a big enough personality for it to be fun to play with. We still bring Minis with us when we go to restaurants, car trips or any other adventure.

Thank you so much for your support and interest in our sample sale. We never expected to sell out this quickly. We have one little bunny left before everything is gone 🐰

We normally never do big sales or huge discounts. But we also don’t like to waste beautiful and handmade products. This is why we’ve decided to do a sample sale. Available products have been exhibited at fairs or used as a sample in our production. None of the dolls have any bigger mistakes. Some have a bit of messy hair, others have a tiny spot. All dolls and doll clothes can be used as a beloved heirloom toy just like all our other dolls. Stock is limited and the sample sale will run from Sunday April 14th 11am EST time to Sunday April 21st 11 EST time.

A few weeks ago, I spent a Friday morning exploring one of Copenhagen’s prettiest museums with my youngest daughter and her favorite doll. While her and her doll enjoyed the little pond with big goldfish, I found inspiration for future collections in watching her play in the beautiful surroundings.
Running a small business has meant that I often work late nights and long weekends but it has also meant being able to spend time with my kids and involving them in my work.

We’ve had quite a lot of questions regarding hair colors, so we made a quick overview of 3 favorites. Mahogany, caramel and auburn.

Even though I personally love the aesthetics of our dolls, my main focus has always been to design products that foster creative play and social skill development in the individual child. More than anything, I love to see Little Kin dolls with visible signs of wear and tear. Dolls that have felt the love from your little one and have inspired and participated in hours of imaginative play.

I’m a bit behind on editing pictures of our new Collection as I’ve been sooo busy preparing for our first fair (turns out there’s a lot to figure out and get ready). My daughter wears glasses and she was wondering why non of the dolls she loved to play with, wore glasses like her. Of course I immediately reached out for my needle and thread and hand embroidered this sweet doll to look just like her, round glasses, long braids and all.
