DK Yoga Retreat | Har din krop og sind brug for en lidt ekstra kærlighed og nærvær her over vinteren? Så vil du måske med på mit yoga & meditations retreat 26-29 marts ved Dronningmølle (45 min. fra Kbh) på et underskønt øko-retreat kun 500 meter fra havet.
Vi bruger dagene på at gå indad - dyrke yoga & meditation og gå ture i det naturskønne område samt hygge foran pejsen. Om aftenen hopper vi i vildmarksbadet, laver restorativ yoga, yoga nidra, sidder i stilhed eller hygger i stuen. Alle måltider er vegetariske og lavet af Siigurd, der ejer stedet. Det bliver helt fabelagtigt for de mennesker der vil komme med mig. Så skal pladsen være din?

We spend our days going inwards - practicing yoga & meditation and enjoying the surrounding nature and close by sea. In the evening we jump in the wildmark bath, do restorative yoga, yoga nidra, sit in silence or relax in front of the fireplace. All meals are vegetarian and made by Siigurd who owns the place. It's going to be absolutely fabulous for the few people who want to come with me. So should the spot be yours?

As 2019 came to and end I sat down to look at what nourished me the most and what didn’t? What kept surfacing was a deep longing for group healing and transformation. Because I find true power in the group. To really see each other, breathe with each other and heal with each other. Because nothing is really done alone (as I see it) and neither should it be. However, we constantly place ourselves in that situation of taking in the load of everything. We don’t need to Do that. It’s so tough to be alone. Let’s rather stand together and let’s invite the invisible thread of energy that collectively binds us together to show its true power and magic

I’m therefore planning lots of transformational experiences this year for us to connect, heal and be together in our raw form 🙏🏼

26. Jan. Flow & Float w/ Acupuncture

In this event, we will dive deeper into how acupuncture and yoga support one another in the healing and flow of energy through the body. Like yoga, acupuncture stimulates the meridians, which are pathways through which the life-energy known as "qi" flows. These pathways correspond to specific organs, which again are related to specific emotions. When these pathways are open and energy flows freely we feel balanced - both energetically and emotionally, but also physically as it helps the organs to perform at their optimal function.

We start the event by inserting the first needle to ground and center ourselves before we begin the flow practice. As we move towards the restorative practice more acupuncture will be performed by Pardis Pourahmad, allowing the body to reset and release blocked energy and stuck emotions. Here, the restorative poses and acupuncture press needle will work on opening a certain meridian We will work with the body's major meridians as a way to establish a greater balance and equanimity in both the body and mind. Here, Pardis will explain how the meridians are connected to the organs and how the health of these are connected to our emotional and energetic state of being. We finish the event off with a nada treatment, which is ear acupuncture that strengthens and balances the body and psyche. We cannot promise, but we are pretty sure you will leave the studio floating on cloud 9.

LET GO | Resting doesn’t come natural to me. It’s something I really had to teach myself over the years to do. I’m always in motion so I really need to remind myself to ‘let go’ and allow my body and mind to rest. This mantra really works for me as it 1) reminds me to release and let go of physical tension sitting around my body, and 2) reminds me to let go of thoughts as they pop up. Being aware of ‘Letting Go’ helps me be more present, happy and calm 💗 feel free to try it out and let me know how it works for you 🤗 #
NECK, SHOULDERS & UPPER BACK SELF-CARE | My postnatal client taking shavasana resting on top of my acupressure mat to increase the blood flow to her neck, shoulders and upper back. It’s commonly that these areas tightens and tenses up after the first couple of months of feeding and holding baby. The mat can really help release some of the tightness. You can also use spiked acupressure balls to release tight muscles and it feels divine ✨ But really this is not just for the new mom. We could all really use this, especially if you sit in front of a computer all day.

In this two hour event we’ll be diving deeper into flow and how there is flow in everything - the ‘doing’ and the ‘none doing’! Even though flow is a natural state we often don’t feel in flow. More often we feel stuck - physically, physiologically, emotionally and mentally. However, as we combine the dynamic with the passive yoga practice whilst reiki is being performed, we allow for more flow to happen as we get rid of unstuck energy and tension leaving you floating on cloud 9 ☁️

Today (well now yesterday) is World Mental Health Day! A theme we at Mind Your Business feel very strongly about. Everyday we get up to teach as many employees as we can the self healing tools and techniques that can help keep a healthy mental state. Our intention is to have these techniques spread across the entire corporate landscape, like rings in the water, so more people can live joyfully and in balance.

I have to admit I’ve gone ahead and created exactly the yoga events I mostly wanted to attend myself during the cold winter months. I call them ‘Flow and Float’ because these are my favorite states to be in.

‘Flow and Flow’ is a 2 hour event happening every month . It is 2 hours of sweat and sweetness. Yes in that order. We start with a transfixing, intelligent and breathfocused flow class followed by a restorative surrender with a healing arts being performed by an external healer. At the same time you will receive gentle assists and acupressure allowing your body to fully rest and release. We are pretty sure you will leave the studio floating on cloud 9 ☁️ ✨☁️

Okay - I’m a mother of two and however fun the weekends are I can be exhausted Monday morning and then my yoga is just this: Lying flat on my back and if I’m lucky, like I was today, I get caressed by the sun! Everyone talks about Monday motivation - this is it for me! I little pause, a deep breath and an accept that I’m just human and it’s totally okay to take it easy ✌🏽
