Some Poulsard, some Poulsard/Trousseau, Chardonnay from 2021 and 2022, maceration of Savagnin… some beautiful expressions of Jura grapes from Yves hands.

Chenin chenin chenin! Welcome to wines in Denmark.
Big bravo to Mathilde and Nicolas for this beautiful wines, pretty impressive work knowing 2022 is their first vintage. We visited the winery in the early stage last year and felt a big energy, in the wines, in the project and in Mathilde and Nicolas.
After some years as engineer and oenolog in few wine regions, Mathilde worked 3 years in Burgundy with Sylvain Pataille. After this learning time Mathilde decided to move in the Loire (Anjou) in the village of Rochefort-sur-Loire to take over 2,7 hectares of Chenin vines. And since the last time we met, took over 6 more hectares with some Pineau d’Aunis, Grolleau, Sauvignon…).
So far, 3 vibrant wines naturally fermented with minimal intervention.
- Belle et rebelle 2022, a sharp pet nat with pretty high tension and varietal Chenin flavours. ⚡️
- Feu follet 2022, 100% Chenin of course, 1/3 in steel tank and 2/3 in old oak. Beautifully balanced wine with the character needed for a refreshing Chenin, light honey and peachy notes in the nose and a mouth on the mineral tension and yellow fruits. One of our new favourites to drink on its own with light dishes. 🔥
- Pièce de Rollay, from Chenin vines planted in 1939, aged 100% in old and new oak. More depth in this wine compare to Feu follet and strong character. Definitely deserve some time in bottle if you have the patience to wait but enjoyable now for a honest and remarkable expression of Chenin. ☄️
Hope you’ll get your hand on some bottles, and get the chance to taste this first excellent vintage from Mathilde and Nicolas. 💫💫💫

Welcome to Denmark to Domaine de Lucey 🌅🌅🌅
We are very proud to introduce this new producer to our selection ☄️☄️☄️

In fact this delicious wines from Erwan (the winemaker) in Savoie (France) are all made from the grape variety Altesse.
On the 6,5 hectares of vineyard, 80% are only Altesse, the remaining being Pinot noir and Mondeuse.

The whites are beautiful, vinification with native yeast and pure taste. We really rediscovered the different expressions of this unique grape with this 4 different wines:

- Les Monettes 2022, on stony limestone soil planted at 400 meters of altitude. A beautiful elegant nose and a surprising deep, clean and long expression from the first sip, the wine develop being open and make it a lovely food partner. ✨

- Les Petits Grains 2022, Steepest slopes of the estate, mix of different parcels of 30 years old vines. The complexity of the Altesse with an amazing balance and full expression, the wine keeps the tension from the rocky soil and the delicacy of the grape. 💫

- Les Chemins 2022, on clay soil facing the south, Les Chemins is a bigger expression of Altesse, more mature and rounder style. Here the fermentation in concret eggs also gave good by to this wine. 🌟

- Le LAC 2022, how to keep playing with Altesse when you want to show another expression from its palette? Maybe by doing some maceration… Here only 8 days on the skin for 25 % of the grapes and then a part with some barrel élevage and another one in steel tank. Providing some more rustic nose and mouth feel to this wine. ☄️

Welcome in Copenhagen to wines.
Some of the most beautiful Melon de Bourgogne who crossed our road and soon yours. From a winemaker family, Jean-Baptiste has been choosing his favourite vines from the original winery. This said he produce three wines:
- Fief de Chaintre, on vines from 1960 with loam soil and Gabbro. Fermentation and élevage are in 450L barrique with indigenous grapes, it is the freshest of both, a very elegant nose and a beautiful mouth feel where the fatty feel of the élevage and the freshness of the grape and the terroir balance themselves.
Clos de l’ozangère is a deeper wine, from 10 years older vines and loam-sandy soil. Even if the fermentation process is the same, the wine develop a higher complexity and longer after taste, it also feel time and patience will be the best friend of the wines.
On the red, Ponceau, it is a blend of 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet franc, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is precise with great juice and lovely tannins and dark fruits.
This is a project who deserve big attention, because the wine are big, will age amazing and already taste beautiful. Hope you’ll get a taste of it soon 🫶

Welcome in Denmark to this beautiful wine from Calabria 🇮🇹
is own by Domenico and is located in Gerace, 50 km before crossing the sea to go to Sicilia. This unique landscape next to the sea is offering a very sunny area but still with some altitude (500 meters) and hills all over. In this unique conditions, Domenico is able to produce some very refreshing wines with light extractions.
The wines are pretty unique, the bianco (made of Greco) is light bodied with white fruit and crisp notes, the orange (from Greco as well) is perfectly balance between light tanins and fresh fruits, citrus zests, and easy drinking mouth feel. The rosé (from Calabrese) is vibrant and tasty, and the red (blend field) a proper summer juice but on the dark fruits. Hope you’ll get your hand on some of it, because we do, but everyday less and less 😉

Among all the requests for more events and dinner time, it will finally comes true this coming weekends.
In fact, we start this weekend with our good friends from .cph.
We decided to make a unique menu (of very special snacky snacks) just for this evening. With it, there will be of course a special selection of the bests wines from Vintro.
Starting at 18h until food and wines are sold out, the event will be at Etcetera of course.
This event is open for everyone, and for walk in only.

More of St-Cyr Beaujolais, and here is the full Gamay heaven (almost only Gamay) ! Actually the first on the left is Gamay, a classic, La Galoche red. We just love it, this 2022 vintage might be one of our favourite ever mais, perfectly balanced juicy Gamay.
Next to is Melo, a more confidential project, a blend of Gamay, Pinot noir, and Chardonnay. A pure bomba 💥
On the right you have 3 different cru, first is les Blémonts, pure and deeper juice.
Morgon les Charmes is one of our favourite as it has the expression of Morgon terroir, with spices and pepper but still Raphael touch where only one bottle is not enough unless it is a magnum 👅
And Chenas les Journets, a more concentrated expression of this beautiful grape, Gamay ♥️

White Beaujolais, oui oui oui !!!
Welcome in Denmark to this explosif trio of white wines from .
La galoche blanc 2022 is 100% Chardonnay, beautifully refreshing style of Chardonnay.
Terroir de Lachassagne 2019 is a pure bomba, also Chardonnay, this one has been fermented in oak to make a vibrant explosive wine.
Sau’Range 2021 is new special project from Raph, a maceration of Sauvignon, from Beaujolais, oui oui oui ! 🌅🌅🌅

First good news of the week! Say welcome and be ready to drink the wines from domaine Mavit. Beautiful and modern wines directly from Corbières (Languedoc).
The challenge for Alexandra and Olivier is to produce wines who are refreshing enough, when the terroir is one of the warmest in France, and the grapes not the most juicy juice friendly (Syrah, Grenache, Carignan…).
Here we selected what we believe makes most sens at Vintro, great expression of the terroir and lovely drinkability.
If you want two more good news (on top of being extremely well priced), we can tell you the wines are available at the shop and online. And if you feel like tasting some vibrant Grenache, smooth Syrah and exciting Carignan, we have a tasting this Thursday 27/04 at 18h. New Monday tradition, we will post every Monday about the new winery or new vintage of our winemakers. And on this sunny Monday, let’s welcome the wines from . The vines of Julien Mary are located in Tavel area, in the southern part of Rhône.
Here you can see Siesta, a light, extremely refreshing Syrah full of red berries and few dark notes keeping up the structure.
Next to, another Syrah, l’oubliée, but macerated, so a stronger expression and dark fruits flavours, but still refreshing style where you think about the second one before you even finished your first glass 🍷
And for the thirsty ones, we got some magnums of Siesta, yes sir!!🏆
