Yesterday I was reminded by LinkedIn that Olive Strachan Consultancy is now in its 26th year! 🥂👏🍾🎉

When I was made redundant in 1998 it was a big catalyst for change and I took a chance and opened my own business! 💡

My first job was to get some free PR and contacted Manchester Evening News 🗞️

One of my first clients was British Council and I had the privilege of working for them for over a decade in various countries! 🌍

I became a qualified HR professional and became a member of CIPD I was the branch chair for and was a for over 20 years! 🎉

Over the years I have run my own centre, been a and

🥇 🏆 Over the years I have been recognised many times for my efforts! Awarded The in 2019 and most recently become of and my consultancy won Enterprise Vision Awards

It has been a rollercoaster ride! Challenging! Invigorating and rewarding! I have grown, met so many wonderful people who have supported me over the years and for this I thank you! 🙏🏾 🎉🥂

On Wednesday the president of the Dominica Association of Industry & Commerce requested that I attend the at The State House on his behalf, as he was unable to attend.

Wednesday evening for the first time I co-hosted an event on Kairi FM titled ‘Knowing your risk level.’

On Saturday I was invited to the ‘Bwa Denn’ grand opening Secret Bay which was amazing!

I ran down the length of the room like then did a few press-ups and that was just the beginning of my presentation on at the event on Saturday 16th March Fort Young Hotel

It was a night to remember with 4 speakers discussing the theme of ‘motivating to inspire success!’ It was a night of passion, energy, fun and inspiration! 💃🏿🎉

During my session I was pleased to share the behavioural learning and development tool TetraMap this promotes a better understanding of self and others, which are key to motivation!

I received some great feedback from the attendees regarding how they were going to implement the lessons learned immediately! 💡
