Depending oon your surgery and medical history your surgeon may require you to hava a nurse to care of you in the beginning hour after your surgery.
A nurse can assist you with self-administering medication reminders, monitor your vitals and wound care dressings, drains, etc. They can also aid with activities of daily living such as bathing, getting dressed, preparing meals , etc.
