Provocation in the art or the method to check your personal triggers.
My big love Jamie McCartney and his Ge***al Artworks. World famous creator of The Great Wall of Va**na: 8 meters long panel with 400 women participants.
Sexuality and vulgarity have been removed by virginity of white color and the pure idea has standed out: we are all different. Simple and deep.
While Women's Panels are more philosophical hinting to the lotus flower and referring to idea of the mother of nature, Men are kind of fun :) I am sorry, boys, but I've been heard so many intimate stories and I've been asked over and over again for the details and telephone numbers of some particular models, that it made me smile all the time.
Museum level artist Jamie McCartney, limited edition pieces, ultimate quality, sense of humor and very deep understanding of the philosophical aspect of the subject - perfect investment piece if you consider art as so.
Fauvism or "wild" - depiction of emotions and moods through the expressive potential of the color. Owing to Matisse's approach to convey meanings and free the color from its purely descriptive and imitative function, artists create an illusion of the surrounded word, that exists on a canvas on its own right.
Dive into the painting and let yourself wander and connect your mind with the world of the artist. Find your inner Alice and follow the rabbit.
Look to those fairy domestic "Windows" of Olga Kuhtevich. Which one hits you the most? Soft early morning, pinkish sunset or smoky evening?
As one of my friends said, our brain doesn't have sense of humor. Indistinguishably good or bad we record our behaving patterns. Brick to brick we build the wall of life, mixing light with darkness.
To bring out the balance we've been given the soul. The only device being capable to generate and receive the love. Love, that sometimes we need to struggle for. And be brave enough to accept it.
The art helps us slightly open the curtain to the world of parallel strings. It widens the borders of recorded life patters. It holds hand in the darkness and leads to the light.
One of my most loved painting of Tania Parchouto "Letters". The lines of a destiny, whisper of the soul, prayer on a canvas. Even being in a thick fog, there is always a tiny blue pinch of the sky above the horizon. And light.
After more than 100 years of existence of the Abstractionism there are still people who can say something like "I don't get abstructions, it's stupid art, I can do the same..." Seriously?
It's like saying about the language you don't understand, that it is stupid. It could be ok, only if you are 5.
Educate yourself. Read. Observe. And you can find yourself actually loving it. Kandinski, Malevich, Mondrian, Po***ck, Rothko... It's the whole universe open to interpretation. Plus millions and millions of $.
Try to catch the melody of the jazz in art. Look beyond the paint. There is no "user manual" to understand it, though quick historical scan and title could help a lot.
Abstractionism is the art of intellect. Nobody has promised the life to be easy. Still think the artist should depict exact copy of the real world? Take your iPhone, take a selfie.
Can you not to like the abstructions? Of course. Not to get it? Impossible.
How to read a painting or my personal W.T.F
1. WHAT FOR
Subject matters but it's not fundamental. It's the idea, the hint, inspiration, "memoris arrested in space".
2. TIMING
Crucially important to pay attention to historical component. It is complicated to understand the Malevich's Black Square without throwing back to russian avan-guard ideas of 1915: "I envisaged the revolution as having no colour... Anarchy is coloured black".
3. FASCINATION
Open your mind to the unknown. Turn on the imagination. Fit the glasses of the artist on or try to find a link, your intrinsic affirmation of what you feel.
Here is a wounderful "Woman with Sunflowers" of Tania Parchouto. Black and white everted negative. Attempt to get back to basics. To rock-paintings, to children's drawings. Layering of textures and colours, mixing the black with tiny islands of high-pitched blues and pinks. Fully imbued with symbolic meanings.
9 of 10 buyers of art are men. Born as logically minded, careful in spendings, closed emotionally and spiritually... buying the art.
External depiction of internal emotions.
The inner freedom to manifest personal aestetic taste and the ability to make subjective judgments related to beauty.
Plus the investment. Both financial and passionate.
❤️
When a person is ready for the Art, the rest will follow: loved piece of art, enough money and the perfect place ❤️
The book is the best present ❤️

Why do we need the Art for?
To enjoy.
To think.
To be inspired.
To soak up the energy of the art piece and transform it into your inner energy.
However, this process could be more intriguing when you see your child communicating with the Art you love.
MARIA (3 years) vs TANIA PARCHOUTO (fragment of "One story", acrylic, canvas, 2022)
Gilding is a decorative technique for applying a very thin coating of gold over solid surfaces such as metal (most common), wood, porcelain, or stone.
Herodotus mentions that the Egyptians gilded wood and metals, and many such objects have been excavated. Certain Ancient Greek statues of great prestige were chryselephantine, i.e., made of gold (for the clothing) and ivory (for the flesh); these however, were constructed with sheets of gold over a timber framework, not gilded. Extensive ornamental gilding was also used in the ceiling coffers of the Propylaea.
Artist Tania Parchouto uses a lot of gilding effect in her art. You can catch the flashes of light, moving towards the surface of the acrylic.
It's no coincidence, that the "Gold" in Greek (Chrysus, Greek: Χρυσός; Khrysos) sounds very close to "Christ"... There is definitely something hevenly.

Just imagine that one painting can change the whole space around? 🤩😍✨
Just let this idea live one day when you will see art and the possibility of collecting it from the other side. 😏
Because a painting, an artwork, it's not just a chest of drawers that has very clear functions in the interior. 🧐 And not even a sofa or curtains (oops!). A painting - this is a whole world that enters your space and it will never be the same again.
🖤
