Only 50 days to go until the re-opening of Notre-Dame Cathedral! 🕍

A symbol of French 🇫🇷 history and culture, Notre-Dame de Paris has been gradually restored through the unique expertise of craftspeople and experts from all over the country.

Both in the Cathedral and in workshops all over France, skilled craftspeople including stonecutters, carpenters, stained-glass artists and sculptors have been collaborating to breathe new life into this architectural masterpiece. It is a project which is unique in the world to restore this French and world heritage site.

This renaissance has also been made possible through 340,000 donors from over 150 countries, through this global momentum to rebuild an exceptional monument which has witnessed over eight centuries of history, and which soon will be restored to its former glory. It promises to be a cultural and heritage event watched the world over.

Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris

🇪🇪 Esmaspäeval, 14. oktoobril toimus Tallinnas Prantsuse-Eesti rohetehnoloogiate ärifoorum. Foorumi eesmärgiks oli vahetada mõtteid energiaalase ülemineku küsimustes ning tugevdada koostööd selle valdkonna Prantsuse ja Eesti ettevõtete vahel.

Päevakorras olid mitmed innovaatilised ettekanded ning osalejad arutlesid dekarboniseerimine, energiajulgeoleku ja projektide rahastamise teemadel.

Foorum oli jätkuks oktoobris 2023 Eesti saatkonnas Pariisis toimunud rohetehnoloogiate konverentsile. Juba see konverents näitas selgelt Prantsusmaa ja Eesti ühist huvi rohepöörde vastu, päädides ühiste kavatsuste deklaratsiooni allkirjastamisega.

Tallinnas aset leidnud ärifoorumi korraldasid Prantsuse Suursaatkond Eestis, Enterprise Estonia ja Eesti Rohetehnoloogia Liit ning seda toetasid Prantsuse-Eesti Kaubandus- ja Tööstuskoda ning Business France.

🇫🇷 Le lundi 14 octobre a eu lieu le Forum d’affaires franco-estonien sur les technologies vertes à Tallinn. Il avait pour but d’échanger sur les questions de transition énergétique et renforcer la coopération entre les entreprises françaises et estoniennes dans le secteur des cleantech.

De nombreuses présentations innovantes ont eu lieu, et les participants ont pu échanger sur les questions de décarbonation, de sécurité énergétique mais aussi de financements de projets.

Ce forum s’inscrit dans la suite du précédent colloque sur les technologies vertes organisé en octobre 2023 à Ambassade d'Estonie en France. Cette première édition avait déjà permis de
confirmer l’intérêt commun entre la France et l’Estonie en matière de transition verte, notamment via la signature d’une déclaration d’intention.

Cet événement a été organisé par l’Ambassade de France en Estonie, Enterprise Estonia, l’Estonian Cleantech Association et a bénéficié du soutien de la CCI France-Estonie ex-cadfe (Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie France-Estonie) et de Business France.

🇪🇪 4. oktoobril kohtus Prantsuse suursaadik Emmanuel Mignot Prantsuse Autoklubi vehklejate ja kahekordse maailmameistri Nikolai Novosjoloviga.

Esmalt tutvustati vehklejate delegatsioonile Prantsuse residentsis Prantsuse-Eesti kahepoolseid suhteid ning seejärel toimus Kadrioru lossi imeilusas suures saalis väïke vehklemise demonstratsioon, kus viibisid ka suursaadik ning Prantsuse Instituudi esindajad.

🔎 1895. aastal asutatud Automobile Club de France oli 1913. aastal Rahvusvahelise Vehklemisföderatsiooni asutajaks. Nüüdseks on klubil peaaegu 2220 liiget.

🇫🇷 Vendredi 4 octobre, l’ambassadeur de France en Estonie, M. Emmanuel Mignot, a rencontré une délégation française d’escrimeurs de l’ACF - Automobile Club De France accompagnée de Nikolai Novosjolov, escrimeur olympique estonien.

Après les avoir reçus à la Résidence de France pour leur présenter les relations bilatérales entre nos deux pays, l’ambassadeur et l'Institut français d'Estonie / Prantsuse Instituut Eestis ont assisté à une démonstration des escrimeurs au sein de la grande salle du château de Kadriorg, fleuron du patrimoine estonien.

🔎 Fondé en 1895, l’Automobile Club de France est à l’origine de la création de la Fédération internationale d’escrime en 1913. Il compte aujourd’hui près de 2220 membres.
