LAST STAND
An old fishing ship wreck has found last it’s last stand.
There is an inventor in Estonian literature who wanted to produce pork from limestone. Since limestones are really pink here in the morning, maybe Salomon Vesipruul had at least dreamed of Osmussaare?

VIDUVA HOLIDAY HOME
Did some nighttime and morning photos at Viduva puhkemaja, a truly hidden treasure in Estonian countryside. On July 3rd there is also possible to see the beauty of this place and enjoy amazing singer and songwriter Mari Jürjens, link to the tickets in comment
ALMOST GONE
When the Sun is starting to set, it is mesmerizing to observe the last rays illuminating the elements that reach out of the water and slowly disappearing light on them.

DREAMING OF NORWAY 🇳🇴
✨ Having spent much time in Norway during the winter, I realized I’ve never truly captured its summer beauty. This coastal scene in Northern Estonia instantly reminded me of Norway and sparked a wave of nostalgia. It made me dream of those breathtaking landscapes and serene moments once again. 🌊🇪🇪🇳🇴
NO WOMAN IS AN ISLAND
Seascape scene captured in Northern Estonia. Naissaar (Women's Island) is visible on the horizon.

Took first time to the field my new Urban Access 15 packpack, just spacious enough to carry all my landscape gear, and after removing the protective rain-shield solid enough to go to the photoshoot. Thank you
SUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM 2
In midsummer, when the sunlight does not really set in Estonia, it is difficult to distinguish between sky and land, light and shadow. While wading in the warm sea water, the thoughts of the day are forgotten and there is only the here and now.
FROST THREADS
That morning, I felt the call of frost threads and took myself for a walk in the bitterly cold nature.

POLARIZATION
Polarization is in some sense also good - seeing through the murky superficial layers makes it clearer what you are dealing with.

POLARISEERUMINE

ELEGY
When the Sun meets the morning mist.
Those fog-kissed mornings in Estonia are what I miss most, yet I can't find the time to immerse myself in nature
REKINDLING
After a busy summer with events, I returned to what I love most. The noise faded, and I found peace capturing nature's beauty. It felt like coming home.

ENGAGEMENT BEACH
During my holiday on the beautiful island of Corfu, I stumbled upon this enchanting beach, which turned out to be the perfect spot for a magical moment. This is the Engagement Beach, where love and romance bloom in the midst of the stunning turquoise waters and golden sands. Here's my interpretation of this special place, where dreams come true and memories are made to last a lifetime. ❤️💍
FALLING
Some Estonian once said that an Estonian film is like your own bowel movement, you still watch it. In recent years, I have had to change my stance - several good films have been produced by Estonians. Having seen truly great Northern Lights during many winters in Norway, I haven't been particularly eager to photograph the small arcs and column fragments in Estonia. However, last night was different. Seeing early high activity, I decided to go and invited the most Northern Lights-photographing Estonian, Markus Varik from Greenlander Tromsø, to join me. And I didn't have to regret it.
AURORAPINE
Beneath the vibrant Northern Lights, a solitary pine tree stands tall, reminding us that even when skies are gray, we can still find our own light. As colors dance across the sky, we're inspired to shine in our own unique ways. 🌌🌲
In life, we build connections that leave lasting imprints on our hearts. Together, we can navigate the challenges and emerge stronger. So, let's continue to shine, undeterred by the world, carving our path through life's captivating journey. 💫
GUARDIAN
🌌✨ This stunning aurora corona is like something out of a dream, overwhelming the night sky with its beauty and grace. It's a reminder that sometimes the most incredible things in life are the ones we least expect. Let's embrace the unexpected and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us every day. Captured near Tromsø, on the tour with 📸✨

Another beautiful display of aurora, with KP1 here in Northern Norway. So it often doesn’t matter, what the auroral activity is, if you find the clear sky and have a patience to wait - this display was captured as late as 1:30 am last night near Tromsø.
All those shapes and colors are from just one aurora chase night with here in Northern Norway. It was truly magnificent night out there in -23 degrees C. End of season we expect to have more favorable weather conditions and hopes are high to catch some really good shows during the equinox.
HAPPY WOMAN'S DAY!
Those heavenly flowers were sent to half of mankind just at the beginning of March 8th. Even 98% full Moon was turning to whiter shade of pale that moment.
ALMOST CUT MY HAIR
Took my out for some focus stacking test. All works fine, now creating my kind of landscape images is easy as it was with my Fujifilm -T2 already 5 years ago :)
CHROMATIC
Photo cameras capture the colors with red, blue and green pixels. All are represented in this spectacular aurora display.
ABOVE 2
Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily routines and familiar surroundings that we forget about the vast, beautiful world that surrounds us. But every once in a while, we're reminded of the sheer wonder and awe that can be found beyond our own little corner of the world. Like gazing up at the magnificent aurora borealis, dancing overhead like a cosmic ballet.
And when you're working in harsh arctic environments, driving hundreds of kilometers in whiteout snowblizzards, the reward of viewing this natural spectacle is all the more sweet. It's a reminder that the challenges we face and the hardships we endure are all worth it in the end, if we keep our eyes open to the beauty that surrounds us.
It's in these moments that we're reminded of the importance of exploring, of pushing our limits and venturing outside of our comfort zones. Because when we do, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities, of new perspectives and experiences that we never would have encountered otherwise.
So the next time you feel stuck in a rut, take a cue from the aurora borealis and look up. Travel to new places, meet new people, and embrace the unknown. You never know what wonders you might discover when you step outside of your own little world and explore the beauty and majesty of this incredible planet we call home.

CONTEMPLATIVE
Imagine yourself sitting by the warm fireplace in this cozy cottage on the shores of a frozen lake, with the majestic mountains towering in the distance. The sky above is painted with vibrant hues of red and purple, as the auroras dance and shimmer with all their power.
It's moments like these that remind us of the wonders of this world we live in, and how lucky we are to witness its breathtaking beauty. The crackling of the fire, the quietness of the night, and the incredible display of nature before us all make us feel so alive and grateful.
So here's a reminder to all of you to take a moment to appreciate the world around you, no matter where you are.

WISH YOU WERE HERE
As I navigate through the deep snow, past windy mountain passes, to reach the shore of a quiet fjord, I search for solid ground amongst the slippery stones. The algae in the bitter-salty Arctic waters gently sway, while the northern lights dance in the northwest sky, converging in perfect symmetry with the surrounding peaks. It's a moment worth capturing, so I take a photo. Just as the stillness is broken by Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" playing from across the fjord, I start a long exposure shot, hoping to freeze this fleeting moment in time.
Is this a dream or a reality? It's hard to tell the difference sometimes.
The photo was taken near Tromsø, Northern Norway, in 2019. Luckily, I'll be back there soon.

RAMBLE ON
The seascape embodies the constant changes of life and provides endless enchantment. In times of turmoil, I retreat to the shoreline for solace in the rhythmic crashing of waves against cliffs. The rough cliffs and calm waters remind me of the immutable laws and ultimate harmony in the world, offering comfort in the sea's endless ebb and flow, a symbol of life's never-ending cycle.
