How to learn to recite Quran correctly?

Many methods can be followed to learn Quran and recite it correctly, including receiving directly from ‘Ulamaa’(1), who specialises in reciting Quran and taking care of it.

One of the best methods to learn to recite Quran correctly is learning the Knowledge of reading the Quran and its recitation from an authentic Sheikh, where the learner listens to his correct reading and reads to him to correct his reading and recitation.

And from what has inferred the correctness of that approach in teaching Quran, Allah says:
(And when We read it, follow thou the reading). (2) (3)

And it should be noted this learning by receiving and by oral is a condition in teaching the correct reading of Quran because the outcome of learning is the correct reading of the Quran does not come by simply reading from books or Quran, as that Knowledge must be taken orally, on the authority of a Sheikh or a scholar.

Quran was revealed from al-Lawhu al-Mahfouz (4) in the heaven to the heart of the Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, through the Angel Gabriel, the Angel of Revelations, peace be upon him, orally. (5)>
