We are immediately hiring an IT System Administrator in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the deployment, configuration and operation of systems, servers, networks and clusters in multiple environments and over large scale.
• Create technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
• Technically engage in and often lead the technical resolution and incident management either face-to-face or over the phone, to help resolve issues.
• Characterize, define & reproduce complex customer issues in test/lab environments.
• Responsible for systems/networks maintenance, health checks and backups.
• Respond within agreed SLAs.
Work Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Information Technology Infrastructure and Systems/Network Administration.
• Good Experience with Microsoft Active Directory services (AD DC – DNS – DHCP – File Services – WSUS – WDS).
• Good Experience with Microsoft 365 Services.
• Good Experience with Linux environments/OS administration tasks.
• Good Experience with Docker Containers.
• Good Experience with Virtualization Technologies (ESXi – Hyper-V).
• Good Experience with Host Management (iDRAC – iLO).
• Good Experience with Storages (NAS – SAN)
• Good Experience with Backup Solutions and Data Protection (Veeam).
• Good Experience with Endpoint Security for Business Tools (Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business).
• Good Experience with L2 and L3 network setup (Cisco – Huawei).
• Good Experience with firewalls management and deployment (FortiGate – Sophos).
• Good Experience with network monitoring tools and services (PRTG – Zabbix).
• Good Experience with IT Asset Management and Inventory Systems.
• Good Experience with IT Service Support Services and Ticketing System.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or IT relevant is a plus.
