تسيطر الخلايا والوحدات الكهروضوئية أحادية الوجه على الأسواق العالمية حتي الآن، ولكن طبقا للتوقعات ستتمكن الخلايا الثنائية الأوجه على الأسواق العالمية في غضون 10 سنوات؛ وهذا يرجع في المقام الأول إلى أن الخلايا الشمسية ثنائية الأوجه تولد المزيد من الطاقة. ومن المتوقع أن تشكل الوحدات ثنائية الأوجه الحقيقية ذات الخلايا ثنائية الأوجه والأغطية الخلفية الشفافة حوالي 50 ٪ من حصة السوق العالمية بحلول عام 2029.

وأخيرا، عند التعاقد مع شركة لتقديم خدمات تصميم وتركيب محطة طاقة شمسية، من المهم التأكد أنها شركة ذات خبرة وكفاءة حتي تتمكن من اختيار الحل الأنسب لظروف الموقع والأحمال.

Currently, the global market is dominated by mono-facial PV cells and modules. However, the International Technology Roadmap for Photovoltaics predicts that bifacial cells will dominate the global market in 10 years. This is primarily due to the expectation that bifacial solar cells would generate more power. However, true bifacial modules with bifacial cells and transparent back covers are expected to make up about 50% of global market share by 2029.

Bifacial solar modules offer many advantages over Monofacial solar panels. Power can be produced from both sides of a bifacial module, increasing total energy generation. Whereas traditional opaque-backsheeted panels are monofacial, bifacial modules expose both the front and backside of the solar cells when bifacial modules are installed on a highly reflective surface (like a white roof or on the ground with light-colored stones), some bifacial module manufacturers claim up to a 30% increase in production just from the extra power generated from the rear.

While bifacial solar panels have higher efficiency ratings, they aren’t that much more efficient. With a tracking system, these modules can reach up to 27 percent efficiency. Meaning these modules only have a difference of four percent more than an average premium monofacial monocrystalline module.

JinkoSolar unveils details of its TopCon 620 W bifacial solar panel The Tiger Neo panel has a power conversion efficiency of up to 22.1% and a temperature coefficient is -0.30% per Celsius degree. The product is made with 182mm wafers, half-cut cells, and has a power output ranging from 590 to 620 W.

As confirmed by China's National Center of Supervision and Inspection, Chinese module maker Trina Solar has announced to have achieved a power conversion efficiency of 23.53% for a monocrystalline p-type module based on 66 PERC cells with a size of 210×210 mm.

ما هي أنواع محطات الطاقة الشمسية؟
هناك نوعان رئيسيان من محطات الطاقة الشمسية من حيث التوصيل على الشبكة وهما :
أ- محطات طاقة متصلة على الشبكة:
هي محطات تولد الكهرباء فقط عندما تكون متصلة بشبكة الكهرباء الحكومية حيث يقوم عاكس التيار (الإنفرتر) في هذه المنظومة بالفصل تلقائيا عند انقطاع التيار الكهربائي.
المكونات الرئيسية لهذا النظام:
• خلايا شمسية تستخدم لانتاج الكهرباء.
• عاكس التيار يستخدم لتحويل التيار المستمر االمنتج من الخلايا الشمسية الى التيار المتردد المستخدم في المنزل او المنشأة.
• حوامل خلايا شمسية.
• عداد ثنائي الاتجاه ( تبادلي ) لحساب نسبة الطاقة المنتجة من المحطة الشمسية و طرحها من الاستهلاك الفعلي.
عند عمل المنظومة، يحدث أحد الإحتمالين :
- تنتج المحطة الشمسية طاقة تغطي الإستهلاك بشكل كامل، و يتم تصدير الفائض من الطاقة الغير مستهلكة إلي شبكة توزيع الكهرباء.
أو
- تنتج المحطة الشمسية طاقة غير كافية لتشغيل كافة الأحمال، فيتم إستهلاك الطاقة المولدة من المحطة بالكامل ويتم تعويض باقي الإحتياجات من شبكة توزيع الكهرباء.

ب -محطات طاقة مستقلة عن الشبكة:
هي محطات طاقة شمسية تولد الكهرباء بعيدا تماما عن شبكة القومية لتوزيع الكهرباء، أي ان عمل المحطة لا يعتمد إطلاقا على إذا كانت الكهرباء متوفرة أم لا.
المكونات الرئيسية لهذه المنظومة :
• خلايا شمسية تستخدم لانتاج الكهرباء.
• عاكس التيار يستخدم لتحويل التيار المستمر االمنتج من الخلايا الشمسية الى التيار المتردد المستخدم في المزرعة، أو المنزل او المنشأة.
• بطاريات لتخزين الطاقة الكهربائية المولدة.
• منظم شحن لتنظيم عملية شحن البطاريات و قد يكون متواجد داخل العاكس .
• حوامل خلايا شمسية.

عند عمل المنظومة، يحدث الآتي :
- تعمل المحطة الشمسية بشكل كامل خلال ساعات النهار لإتمام عملية شحن البطاريات التي بدورها تغذي الاحمال التي يحددها العميل.
و

- عند غياب أشعة الشمس وحلول الظلام، فإن النظام يعمل على فصل الألواح وتوصيل البطاريات كمصدر الطاقة لتشغيل الأحمال الكهربائية.

What are the types of Solar PV Plants?
There are two main types of Solar PV power plants in terms of connection to the grid:
1. On-Grid power plants:
In this type of systems, the plant can only operate and generate electricity when it is connected to the national electricity grid; as the inverter in this system gets automatically disconnected when the power is cut off.
The main components of this system:
 Solar panels are used to produce electricity.
 An Inverter used to convert the DC current generated from the solar cells into AC current.
 Mounting structure.
 A bidirectional meter for netmetering calculation.

During the operation of this system, one of two scenarios will happen:
 The solar plant produces all the required energy for the loads, and then the excess energy gets exported to the national electricity grid.
or
 The solar plant suffers from low productivity levels which is insufficient to run the entire load power requirements, and then the system uses all the solar produced power and imports the remaining from the power grid.

2. Off-Grid power plants:
In this type of systems, the electricity can be generated without any connection to the electricity grid, and it does not depend at all on whether electricity grid is available or not in this area.
The main components of this system:
 Solar panels are used to produce electricity.
 An inverter used to convert the DC current generated from the solar cells into AC current.
 Batteries to store the generated energy.
 A charge controller to regulate the process of charging the batteries, and it may be included inside the inverter.
 Mounting structure.

During the operation of this system, there are two daily scenarios:
 During day time, the solar plant will charge the batteries and supply the loads with the required power.
&
 In the absence of sunlight, the system works to separate the panels and connect the batteries as an alternative source to run the electrical loads.
