Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly has directed the responsible government agencies to withdraw the licenses of 16 tourism companies that have illegally sent Egyptian individuals to perform the Hajj pilgrimage without providing them with any services.
Madbouly has also ordered the referral of the officials of these companies to the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the imposition of fines on these companies in favor of the families of the pilgrims whose deaths were caused by the companies.
The Egyptian Prime Minister stated that the government is working to follow up on the conditions of Egyptian pilgrims, provide support and assistance to the families of the deceased, coordinate with the authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to facilitate the procedures for the deceased, and provide all necessary facilities in this regard, and study the causes of what happened and work to prevent its recurrence.

The presidential initiative “100 Million Trees” is in its second phase for the fiscal year 2023/2024, which aims to supply 3 million trees to all governorates of the Republic, with funding from the Ministry of Local Development and in cooperation with the Ministries of Military Production, Agriculture and Land Reclamation, at a cost estimated at 98 million pounds, including wooden and fruit trees on main roads and streets, sub-governmental institutions, institutions in various villages, cities of the governorates and sides of canals, which contributes to doubling the green area at the level of the Republic.

Egyptian Singer Amr Diab Files Harassment Complaint

Following an incident at a Cairo wedding on Friday, June 7th, singer Amr Diab has reportedly filed a complaint with the New Cairo Public Prosecution office. The complaint alleges harassment by an individual who reportedly approached Diab from behind and attempted to take a close-up photo with their phone. Details of the investigation, including statements from Diab's lawyer, are ongoing.

Counselor Adel Azab, Chairman of the State Council, announced that the Electronic Letigation System will be launched in the State Council courts nationwide tomorrow Tuesday, during the opening of the new State Council headquarters in New Cairo.

Al-Arish Criminal Court, headed by Judge Abdelaziz Shaheen, President of the Court, issued a judgment punishing the defendants in the case concerning the death of Naira Salah, a student from Al-Arish. The defendants were sentenced to three years' imprisonment and an order was issued to erase the recordings found on their phones. The charges brought against the defendants were related to threats and violation of the privacy of the defendants.

A dedicated office to address similar issues faced by persons with disabilities.

Both offices will take necessary actions to protect these vulnerable groups.
