Professor Moustafa Youssef's research was selected as a runner-up for the Best Paper Award out of around 250 submissions at the International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems. His research is the first of its kind to provide a system for locating mobile phone users in 3D using a single cell tower information.

"In my school 60% of all students study abroad, and I felt like I could go to Europe at any moment of my life, but AUC would be very diverse, and a chance that I wouldn't really get some other time. Going to Egypt is something that I haven't thought of too often, I think that the culture could be enchanting and I really wanted to experience it. When I saw the architecture here, I thought it was very beautiful, but what I was most excited about was the classes, as I really wonder how liberal psychologists appear in the East."

“Last summer I interned at Halliburton and I was assigned in the production services department where an engineer took us to the yard everyday to use the tools available, disassemble them and learn how they work. It was a great experience. I learned a lot from my time in Haliburton especially my time in the yard where I learned how to operate those important tools.”

AUC launches 14 new active learning classrooms on campus! Through these cutting-edge classrooms, our students now have access to enhanced learning experiences in a wide range of subjects, from Islamic history and genetics, to structural engineering and organic chemistry.
