Household chores
Chores can be very boring-especially for kids. But it's important to start teaching our children from a young age that cleaning up is a very important skills to have. It also helps our children to be more independent as they get older.
Children who do chores may exhibit higher self-esteem, be more responsible, and be better equipped to deal with frustration, adversity, and delayed gratification. These skills can lead to greater success in school, work and relationships.

Practical Life Skills
Buckling, zipping, tying and buttoning are great and fun way to help the children learn! The kids can learn how to tie shoes, buckle a belt, and zip up a shirt, strengthening fine motor skills and building confidence along the way!
This shows the kids the importance of being independent so that they can start working on all these skills on their own.

Pouring and scooping activities are great for children in practicing more fine motor skills with handling cups, and containers.
Pouring and scooping activities support early math concepts (less or more). Activities require children to use eye and hand coordination.

Making and kneading our own dough-a great sensory activity that allows children to explore textures, learn mixing techniques, improve fine motor skills-all in fun way!😄🤩

Fine motor skills are an essential part of a toddler's development. They establish hand-eye coordination, build small muscle control, and lay the foundation for handwriting in the future.

Math Revision
Having time on their side means that children can explore different revision techniques rather than just sticking to one.
To encourage children to improve their counting. Counting specific quantities and one-to one correspondence should be introduced.

At the earliest stages of reading instruction, the essential concept to master is alphabet recognition and recall. Children who can quickly recognize and recall the letters of the alphabet have an easier time learning their letter sounds. It is a fundamental concept to master, but one that cannot be overlooked. Grey Day Celebration

Our special focus letter of the week is letter Ww! We had a lot of fun decorating W for watermelon! The best part was the sensory activities like lacing letter W, sensory letter and Mark making using shaving cream. We enjoyed this activity so much as it also worked on fine motor skills!

Our little star had a great time recapping shapes by crafting diamond crown and matching the shapes on the fish with the similar one! It's good way to refresh our memorization and focus skills!

We had fun practicing different activities to learn more about this number. We played counting fish and enjoyed searching number 15.
