External Auditor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Auditor to join our team in the UAE. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy & reliability of financial statements, while identifying areas for improvement & upholding international auditing standards. You will work closely with clients across various industries, providing valuable insights & contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct independent audits of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) & International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).

· Perform risk assessments & develop detailed audit plans, focusing on key financial areas, internal controls, and potential compliance issues.

· Conduct substantive testing of financial transactions & balances, including analytical procedures, confirmation procedures, and detailed testing.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify control weaknesses or potential fraud risks.

· Prepare comprehensive audit reports that clearly document findings, recommendations, and action plans.

· Collaborate with internal audit teams and management to address identified issues and implement corrective actions.

· Stay up to date on changes in accounting standards, auditing regulations, and industry best practices.

· Maintain strong relationships with clients & ensure clear communication throughout the audit process.

· Manage audit teams and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in external auditing

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite and audit software.



Key Qualifications:

· Preferably holding a Professional accounting qualification such as IFRS and ISAs

· Minimum 5 years of experience in external auditing, ideally within the UAE or a similar regulatory environment.

· Sales Ability: Demonstrates capability in client engagement & business development.

· You should be familiar with the different types of taxes in the UAE and how to comply with the relevant regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software: Familiarity with commonly used software like Gulf Tax, SAP

· Proven track record of successful audit engagements & delivering insightful reports.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & critical thinking skills.

· Strong communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.

· Ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Time management & organizational skills to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

· Fluency in English & Arabic.

· Previous experience in bookkeeping

Tax Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE tax regulations and a proven track record of success in preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax audits, and providing tax advice to clients.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns for a diverse range of clients.
· Manage tax audits and liaise with UAE tax authorities on behalf of clients.
· Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liabilities.
· Stay up to date on the latest changes in UAE tax laws and regulations.
· Research and analyze tax issues and prepare reports for clients.
· Maintain accurate and organized tax records.
· Meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Build strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Tax Accountant.
· Deep understanding of UAE corporate and individual income tax regulations, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
· Experience with tax software, preferably Gulf Tax, SAP, Xero, QuickBooks.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Must be fluent in English & Arabic.

- Conduct substantive testing of financial transactions and balances, including analytical procedures, confirmation procedures, and detailed testing.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify control weaknesses or potential fraud risks.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports that clearly document findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Liaise with management and stakeholders to discuss audit findings and address their concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting and auditing regulations, specifically Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our internal audit methodology.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in external auditing, with a focus on complex commercial entities.
