One year ago, Team Malizia and Team Holcim-PRB made history in The Ocean Race! 🚀

Nature’s Baton from the connected world leaders at the conference in Athens. Greek Prime Minister held Nature’s Baton with those who gathered in Athens to advance the protection and restoration of ocean health.

Flying into another weekend

The longest and most epic leg in The Ocean Race's history concluded on April 2, 2023 with Team Malizia taking victory after 35 days at sea 🏆. Leg 3 from Cape Town in South Africa to Itajaí was 14,714 nautical miles of intense, unforgettable close-quarters racing.

On this day we remember John Fisher and send our warmest thoughts to his family, his friends and all of those who had the great pleasure of sailing with him.

One year ago today the IMOCA fleet were in repair and damage control mode in the Southern Ocean, during one of the most epic legs in the Race's history.
11th Hour Racing team had rudder damage and repairs to their mainsail, while Team Malizia needed their hastily repaired mast to hold. Meanwhile Guyot environnement - Team Europe pushed West from Cape Town instead of East, towards Brazil after hull repairs had forced them to abandon the leg.
