Today I have been filming interviews for CNN, as part of a small tour I am on for them in Uruguay and Argentina. Normally I am very well received when I go and work in new places, but today was something very special. From the moment I stepped out of the plain I have been received with an overwhelming kindness by open hearted people

Today I had the pleasure of filming an interview with the Argentinian golf player Emiliano Grillo for CNN. The first photo is what I see through my camera, and was taken just before we started the interview. It was also the day where my suitcase broke down and I had to try and fit all my clothes and camera gear in a new one. I also went on a 2,5 hours bus ride from Punta del Este to montevideo in Uruguay. Finally, the wooden box with the thermo is the bus drivers mate-kit. Here in Uruguay they take their mate drinking serious 😆

Today my plan was to go to a small Marína and take a boat to a beach east of Manaus, where I wanted to film some wild nature for my YouTube channel . But, when I arrived there, with all my gear and energy, I found out that there are no boats on weekdays. Now that was bad news, because I am flying out of here tomorrow and I did not have a plan B for the day. Luckily there was a TV crew waiting for another boat and they were kind and good hearted people who told me I could come along with them to a local community down river. A trip that would probably not have been recomendable for a gr**go traveling alone with a lot of film gear. As it turned out, we had a fantastic adventure trip together and I even got a great story for my channel. All this thanks to my new friends and what a fantastic day it turned out to be - thank you guys 🤗

What a beautiful day to be filming interviews and Broll in . I couldn’t ask for a better day to use my new camera for the first time and what a great camera it is.

I had a great day today filming in Brasilia and I walked almost 11 kilometers with my equipment so I had my exercise as well 😅

There was a time when I had almost as much hair as the microphone, but those days are obviously gone now 😂
