As most of you know I am no longer in Port Olimpic and I am not planning to return. So unless someone wants to take this page over I am going to delete it.

I have always struggled to sleep on boats in the marina because of the noise from the lines to the dock. Last night was no exception until in desperation I got some white winch grease and smeared it all over the fairleads. Blessed silence why didn't I try this before? Now it will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

Finally after four weeks of cold showers they are working again. Hot water at last. Now we have no excuse for looking like sea tramps.

If anybody needs to repair electronic equipment and needs diodes, resistors, transistors, capacitors etc. I can reccommend Diotronic, Carrer de Muntaner 49, 08011, Barcelona. They have everything and are very inexpensive. I bought 12 LEDs and a capacitor for 2 euros which was a lot cheaper than buying a new switchboard.
