On July 12, we celebrated “International Youth Day” surrounded by young coaches as part of the acts and events of the “Youth Zone” project.

“Youth Zone” is the project implemented by through 3-year framework partnership agreements to support Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth, Erasmus + in the period 01.01.2023 – 31.12.2025.

Barcel’hona Sports Events had the honor of participating in the youth workers seminar YOUTH CONNECT organized by Asociatia “Tineret pentru Dezvoltare Durabila”.  The mobility was organized between 9-13 May 2024 in Busteni-Romania, in the framework of Erasmus + program - Youth Accreditation, and gathered 11 participants from 🇹🇩Romania- Asociatia Tineret pentru Dezvoltare Durabila , 🇮🇹Italy- Beyond Borders Italy,🇪🇦 Spain- Barcel’hona Sports Events, 🇷🇸 Serbia- KOM 018 - Club for Youth Empowerment 018 / Klub za osnaživanje mladih 018 and Poland - Euroregion Baltic - ERB.

YOUTH CONNECT had a key cross-sectorial character, reuniting key staff and decision makers from partner organizations active in the fields of youth, sport and public sector (local authorities), thus ensuring a strong multiplier effect to the results obtained during the accreditation project. It also provided the framework for developing a future network, aiming at sharing best practices and common resources in the field of youth.

The mobility focused on deepening, testing and consolidating results and non-formal methods obtained during the youth accreditation activities implemented between 2021-2023, as well as contributing with best practices of working methods developed by the partners in their daily activities.

Specific objective of the seminar were:

Build a trans-national and cross-sectorial network of equipped youth workers, that can better respond to the challenges of the youth sector in the fields targeted by the accreditation.

Provide a strategic testing and steering of the resources and results obtained throughout the accreditation activities, while making them accessible to wider target groups.

Again, and it’s already been 20, the Ciutat d’Alaior Base Basketball Tournament has been a resounding success.

Barcel’hona Sports Events has collaborated again with the organization and we have made it possible for the Japanese Shizuoka Gymrats team to enjoy this great training basketball event. Their participation has further enriched the atmosphere of the tournament, demonstrating the diversity and global passion for this sport.

The Japanese team also had time to visit the city of Barcelona. A great trip without a doubt: Menorca, Basketball, Barcelona, ​​Gaudí... Not bad at all, right?

We thank CB Joventut d’Alaior for the trust and we congratulate them for the success of participation and fans who have enjoyed it.

Entre el 8 y el 14 de febrero de 2024 tuvo lugar el primer curso de formación dentro del proyecto “Voz del cambio-Perspectiva de género en los marcos de políticas”, en Corato, Italia🇮🇹.

El curso de formación tenía como objetivo formar a los participantes de los países socios sobre la igualdad de género, la lucha contra la discriminación y la violencia de género a través de métodos de educación no formal. Las sesiones incluyeron la comprensión de conceptos de género, diferencias sociales, violencia de género, metodologías de investigación y planificación de actividades locales para aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos.

Hate Fighters Network (Serbia) en cooperación con Impact Circles (Alemania), Beyond Borders (Italia), ATDD (Rumania) y Barcel’hona Sport Events (España) implementa “Voice of Change – Perspectiva de género en “Proyecto de marcos políticos” con el fin de promover la igualdad de género en los países socios y desarrollar una metodología a largo plazo para campañas de promoción para la eliminación de la discriminación y la violencia de género a través de marcos políticos y legales. El proyecto se centra en preparar a los jóvenes para que sean miembros activos de la sociedad, desarrollar una visión general de los marcos legales existentes relacionados con el género y construir puentes entre los jóvenes activos y los tomadores de decisiones y políticas a través de la promoción pública. Período de implementación del proyecto: 01.11.2023 – 31.10.2025. El proyecto está cofinanciado por la Unión Europea a través de Erasmus + European Youth Together.
