Tomatoes 🍅
Fascinated by this edible berry of the plant Solanum lycopersicum, commonly known as the tomato plant. Such a versatile little (or big) fruit.
As you know by now, they can be consumed in diverse ways: raw or cooked, and in many dishes, sauces, salads, and drinks.
As I first learned in Atlanta, GA (US) unripe green tomatoes can also be breaded and fried, used to make salsa, or pickled.
Tomato juice is also sold as a drink, and who has not had few cocktails known as the Bloody Mary🙂 Tomatoes are extensively used in Mediterranean cuisine as a key ingredient in pizza and many pasta sauces. Last but not least, amazing tomatoes are regularly used in Spanish and Catalan dishes, such as gazpacho and „pa amb tomàquet”.
Lets tomato together in beautiful Barcelona🙂
It is certain that we shall be joined by many of its close friends such as olive oil, salt, garlic and jamon iberico de bellota.

☀️Good morning to all the friends, gueasts and culinary adventurer loving people.
It is officially that as of the beginning of this year, I have restarted GustoFoood boutique culinary trips in Barcelona. Right after the Covid ,which reshaped our lives, business and in many cases aproach to our everyday „what matters most”, I did not jump immediately into my culinary projects. It is because, the quality was simply not there. Many of my friendly restaurants that were in business for 30 years closed due to financial struggles. Many of the ones that remained, disappointed in food quality, service and prices. Barcelona was „beaten up and sad”. Because I am one person company and I firm this with my name, quality and attitude, the time was needed. One thing was sure- I have always believed in beautiful Spain and I sincerely believed in YOU. Clients who often became friends and have remained such to these days. You have kept asking to give GustoFood culinary adventures another go. To be honest- I hesitated, as I have seen the many changes. However, my passion and your persorvirence seemed stronger🙂You spoke and I have listened. I am back with boutique culinary tours in the beautiful city of Barcelona, which seems better than ever. Sun, blue sky, cava & fantastic food. If you are ready for culinary adventure during the company or private trip, I am here to make it tasty and memorable. For those who have never dined with me, please read the 50 reviews here.
