We’re closed today because of the weather conditions, back open tomorrow as usual.

A fantastic start to 2024, new Cocktails, new food menu and Alicia’s Paella nights. The weather is incredible but we desperately need some rain!

Alicia’s Freshly made Paella, fully booked tonight for our last Paella Evening of the year 🥳

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our fundraiser for Miguel on Wednesday, the fresh paella made €700 and the Gofundme site is currently at €997.

We’re blown away by the local support and sense of community, it’s truly one of the reasons we moved to Spain!

We are going to continue with the go fund me page for a few more days and then give all the money raised to Miguel on Wednesday.

The weather is a bit mixed but it’s business as usual, plenty of bars still open down here on the coast.

Afternoon everyone 😎

A week ago today, Miguel our neighbour, was the victim of a random act of vandalism, when an individual set fire to his sunbeds, mattress’s and umbrellas on the beach! Unfortunately none of the sunbed owners can get insurance because of the location.

The total cost of the damage was €10,000 and has basically wiped out his year.

One thing we’ve noticed and appreciated since we’ve been here is the sense of community, so tomorrow, Wednesday 30th August we are holding a small fundraiser to help him.

Alicia and other Spanish locals will be cooking fresh paella’s on our terrace and offering them for €5 with a small beer or bottle of water.

We are donating all the food and drinks in order to help a local business in need.

We’ve had an incredible year at the Dizzy Donkey and now it’s our turn to give a little back!

We are open for takeaway from 1-3 tomorrow and would love as many people to come down as possible and help us raise some much needed funds for Miguel.

Good Afternoon everyone, it’s been quite some time since we posted at The Dizzy Donkey, it’s been a crazy busy summer season so far and we have the incredible September and October to come!

We are quite often asked exactly where we are situated in Benalmadena, so we’ve taken a video from a slightly different perspective to help those struggling to find us.
