(ES) Si todavía no has venido a ver la exposición "Memories", no pierdas la oportunidad de ver la obra de Ramón Pérez en directo. A veces esta pintura pasa desapercibida porque está al fondo de la galería, pero merece la pena hacer todo el recorrido para admirarla.

Ramón Pérez es un artista bilbaíno de gran oficio y amplia experiencia.En la actualidad está pintando una serie de retratos que tienen unasensibilidad más contemporánea. Los últimos son especialmenteinteresantes. De pequeño formato, las obras se sitúan entre las oscurasdeformaciones psicoanalíticas del expresionismo de vanguardia y lasbrillantes distorsiones de las imágenes fotográficas. Con un acabado muypulcro, pulido y como industrial, revelan profundas tensiones yemociones internas. Rostros que por debajo de su apariencia propicianlecturas de desarraigo y desesperanza, así como un espíritu de vida allímite y una fuerte sensación de desamparo.
