Rock Hardi is a French fanzine that has been talking bout the "good stuff" since 1982!! In the most recent issue you can catch an interview lil' JC did with Dom Genot. There's loads more in this issue with a special on the recent Jeffrey Lee Pierce/Gun Club tribute. Other stories on Lo Spider's Swampland recording studio, Gun Egg Fryer, Dum Dum Lovers and much much more. The fanzine also comes with a CD including 2 tracks from ye olde JC and much more.

One week ago today you left us
And although you will ALWAYS be forever in my heart and on my mind the idea that i can not feel one of those big hugs we so often gave each other is very hard to imagine.
I first meet you in Benidorm at Abraxas in maybe 2003? on my first tour in Europe, I asked Joe Dog the 3rd ¨who is the big fella over there?¨ Joe said ¨that´s my best friend Julian!! I thought to myself if i just stand next to Julian i might not look so big!! (me more round than big and tall like a mountain as Julian) we spoke a little that night (Belinda doing the translating) and then the next time we meet later that month we shared a ¨hamburguesa y patata fritas¨ in Valencia on a Tuesday night and you played bass in the support band The Traitors. Two years later we would meet again in some strange underground disco in Valencia that served as a venue for Johnny Casino´s Easy Action, it was you that promoted that concert and is the first time i would meet Isidro playing in Negative Waves, it was a wild night and we all ended up back at Gabba Gabba Hey until the wee wee hours.
I can go on and on and on about places, PAELLAS!!! castles, the road, great concerts, sh*tty concerts, the best places to stop and eat while on the road in Spain, music, salchichas, arroz with things, the LOVE, TOGETHER TOGETHER TOGETHER so many laughs shared and tears cried together, hours/days/nights in the van with you and Isidro that I will treasure and carry with me until my time comes.
The hole that you leave can only matched by the LOVE you shared with me and SO MANY others. As the late Jim Dickinson said ¨I´m just dead, I´m not gone!!¨ well for me I really feel this is the case, your smile, your love and your friendship will always be by my side.
I LOVE YOU BROTHER now and always.

I did think about what i might say , but i am not sure if i actually said half the things i wanted to say.............. I do know this, I consider myself very lucky to have shared so much with our brother Julian.

Just got back home to Spain from a wonderful visit to Australia, THANKS SO MUCH to all the good folks that made it out to the 2 sold out concerts!! it was a nice way to jump in the water while in the great southern land.
