Hi, I’m Star ✨aka Lunita Loca and I am an illustrator living on an olive farm in the beautiful mountains of southern Spain. I’m passionate about creating vibrant, emotive art that weaves together colour, magic, and soul. 🌿🎨

My healing journey began during lockdown in 2019, when I rekindled my love for art after years of dormancy. Creativity became my therapy, and sharing my work online felt like a beautiful way to connect with others during a time when the world needed healing. 🦋

After a couple of years of focusing on family, community projects, and growing my own food, I got burnout and knew it was time to return to my true passion. In the summer of 2022, a scorpion sting (on a new moon) awakened something powerful within me—igniting my creativity like never before. 🌑🦂💫

And so, *Lunita Loca* (crazy little moon) was born! My art has been flowing ever since, and I’m embracing this wild, joyful ride. 💖🌈

I create art with the intention of connecting with women on their healing journeys. Healing is often messy, emotional, and transformative—my work reflects that process. Through vibrant colours, symbols of transformation like the moon, and raw emotion, I hope to remind women that healing is not just possible, but happening within them every day.

I want my art to invite you to reconnect with your feelings, trust your intuition, and celebrate your evolution, wherever you are on the path.

I believe creativity is a gateway to the soul. When we express our inner world, we open ourselves to healing and self-discovery. It doesn’t have to be perfect—creativity is about showing up, exploring, and letting go.

My goal is to inspire others to embrace their creative side, whether you’re a seasoned artist or just beginning. Your creativity is unique, and every mark you make reflects a deeper truth. Be bold, be fearless, and let your inner world flow. The world needs your magic. 🌸

“The Dream”

Inspired by the Osho Zen Tarot card, “The Dream,” this piece created using a mix of collage and illustration, reflects on the illusions we often hold about love and fulfillment.

It explores how we long for a perfect union—a soulmate who will complete us. The woman in the boat looks longingly at a romanticised couple, symbolising that distant, idealised vision we all chase. But, as the card reminds us, this is just a fantasy.

The couple represents that unreachable dream, while the woman in the boat embodies the journey toward self-discovery. As she navigates the stormy waters, she realizes that true love and fulfillment come from within, not from someone else.

The Dream is a reminder to let go of the search for completion in others and instead focus on cultivating inner wholeness.

Art Lunita Loca Art

She lives in a world shrouded by both mystery and beauty. She dwells in the night-time, just as the High Priestess did.

Night-time is the realm of feminine and of inward flowing energy. She is wise to the deeper implications of the world, she sees more than what meets the eye.

She is highly sensitive, yet does not let her sensitivities overwhelm her. Her initiation can seem almost magical. She easily senses what type of care and love is needed in a given situation.
