Today I experimented by using cut flowers from a flowering plant I’ve never used before. I wasn’t sure how long it would have last once cut it but it performed amazingly well! And the colors of its little grapes peachy flowers with the yellow buttons! Love it!!
A mix of my garden cut flowers (dahlias, ranunculus, ficus leaves) and some extra help 😉!

The contrast with the colored skirt I’m wearing and the orangy flowers it wasn’t intentional, but I have to say that I love how they look together!

One of my favorite colors palette to work with.
It’s just so gratifying and easy to create something when we use stems we love!
Pale pink, peach, lavender, yellow and white.
Those clematis and sweets peas.. I would just keep adding and adding!! But we all know.. we need to recognize when it’s time to stop! ,)

Yesterday I got a new vase. I would go to visit the store and always stop in front of it. It’s not vintage. It’s a modern piece. But the texture, the ancient style and the color attracted me so much. It transmitted me a warm feeling. I love how the simplicity of its line was made more interesting by giving it a riddled texture .

Preserved floral earrings. An elegant accessory bridesmaid can wear to beautify themselves. Not only, these floral gems are bespoke and created following the color palette chosen for bridesmaids dresses and/or bouquets.

Basically everlasting, they are elegant, cool, and versatile. You can wear them on the Big Day, and then used them again with a simple t-shirt, or a nice cosy cashmere sweater. How would YOU wear it?

About this Sunday:

Woke up with throat on fire, fever and chills al over my body. But the kids are out with daddy, and they think I’m resting.. instead I wanted to reuse the flowers I made the hanging wreath with, and create this centerpiece.

Still feel some of the Halloween vibe,) In being honest Chrysantemum are not one of my favorite flower, at all. But, if we pair them with something fun like these green palms berries their “flat personality” might look a bit more interesting ,)!

One from the last wedding of the season!

A monocolor corsage that express simplicity and elegance. Working with a single color can be challenging but if we play around with the different shapes and structures of the ingredients we have available the final result can be very appealing ,)!

Maybe a bit uncommon color for summer time. But I was inspired by the old style iron candle 🕯️ holder. It reminded me of old medieval castle, and I thought of matching this vision with a dramatic blood-color amaranth us and zinnias.

Happy faces after achievements 👑 🌸.
Its interesting to notice the various styles we can create using the same colors’ palette and ingredients.
Few girls went for a more fullish texture while others opted for a delicate -natural effect. Same flowers used to make totally different floral crowns.
But they all matched perfectly with the style of the lady who wore it,)🌸✨ Thank you to all these lovely girls for joying me to this class.

Who said the aisles decorations works only as “aisles decor”?!,) here an alternative way to reuse them. As a details to full up an empty space on the cocktail space of the venue. It’s not only a matter of saving, it’s mostly a wish to be more sustainable and use at the max the ingredients we have without extra doing.

New York City 2016. 6 years have passed but if feels like yesterday! Collecting ingredients for one of the projects I worked with . She is been my first floral adventure back in 2011. And she immediately became my floral designer mentor and one of my dearest friend in the big apple. I miss you so! Thank you for taking me through the magic of this job. And for showing me endless prospectives!

Explosion of ranunculus

Urn’s arrangement it’s absolutely one of my fav! It can be made following the same mechanics techniques than a centerpiece, but on larger scale. So you still can still follow the vision and style that you have in mind for a centerpiece but have an entire/ partial wall decorated with it instead.

One reason to love bud vases is their versatility. They are fun to work amd there are endless way to create with them. They enhance every stem shape, color and movement. I worked with them for this dinner party and the result was colorful and fun decoration that embellished the all table setting.

Organize workshops for me are a way to gathering together to share the same passions, to open our minds and consider other points of view. I think it’s very important to get to know others people perspective. It allow us to consider different aspects that maybe wouldn’t even come to our mind without talking to others.
