This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Javier Moral Escudero, Head of the Commercial Office, and Mrs. Ekaterina Yankova, Senior Commercial Officer, from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Sofia to our Skopje office. Their visit aimed to show the Spanish Embassy’s support for 2Coders’ strategic growth in the region and explore opportunities for connecting with international institutions and working on joint projects. As part of the discussion, we talked about 2Coders’ future plans for regional and global expansion.

We were thrilled to host them for the first time in our new office, following Ambassador Jose Luis Lozano Garcia’s visit last year for our opening. The continued support from the Embassy of Spain in North Macedonia is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to potential collaborations.

Last month, our team had a very busy schedule.

Tina attended Streaming Tech Sweden in Stockholm, one of the biggest tech events in the Nordics, focused on the technology for video streaming.

In Skopje, two pairs from 2Coders were present at two tech events. Andrej and Oliver attended , a conference dedicated to iOS app development, while Dushica and Marija were at the Tech Conference, an event organized by Women in Tech that covers the top topics in the tech industry with a focus on technologies and the future.

Tina also participated in a panel at the Women in Tech Macedonia Career Summit, where she discussed crucial career turning points, the importance of internships and mentorships, and effective networking strategies.

Lastly, our team members took part in the Semos Job Fair, where we had the opportunity to introduce our work to a large number of students.

In April, our team was pretty busy.

David and Romy hit up the NAB conference in Las Vegas, where they checked out the latest OTT trends and made some new contacts. They also didn't come back with empty hands. They brought a brand new Apple Vision Pro. Innovation in progress.

Some of our team members ran on the streets of Las Palmas for the annual Canarias7 Business Race, and they crushed it! Good job, team!

David and Karen attended the third edition of the Radio Forum organized by FORTA in Lanzarote. David even got to talk live on the radio.

Today, our team is present on “Thrid edition radio forum”, an annual conference organized by FORTA, a federation of regional radio and television organizations from Spain.

The conference is being held in Lanzarote and this year’s topic is the “Present and Future of Local Radio” which will be the theme of debates and analysis between the participant on this event.

We as a company from Canary Islands are excited to find out what is coming next for the locals radios in Spain.

Our team members attended two interesting events in Skopje last month.

Firstly, Tina and Marija participated in the AI4 conference organized by the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce for Information and Communication Technologies (MASIT). The conference focused on the application of AI in the IT industry.

Additionally, some of our developers attended a workshop on Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for Android, iOS, Desktop, and Web development. The workshop featured Compose UI, Ktor, and Coroutines.

Our engagement in these events gave us invaluable insights, and we had the opportunity to network with industry peers.

Meanwhile, in Macedonia, we engaged in a panel discussion hosted by Semos, where we explored the future of jobs in the IT industry. Additionally, we attended an conference organized by the MASIT ICT Chamber of Commerce of Macedonia.

Our presence at these events allowed us to gain valuable insights and connect with fellow professionals.
