Jill Scott — Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1 (2000)

Her debut album, a true blend of neo-soul and jazz, helped define the sound of early 2000s R&B

Jill Scott’s expressive vocal style and lyrical storytelling are particularly unique here

“A Long Walk” became one of Scott’s signature songs, and the album was nominated for three Grammy Awards

The album features contributions from notable producers and musicians such as Jeff Townes (DJ Jazzy Jeff), James Poyser, and Questlove from The Roots

1. Mascarpone Panna Cotta: Rich and creamy panna cotta with mascarpone, served with cherries poached in Uva de Vida’s Esencia Oxidativa wine ()

2. Classic Vanilla Flan: Smooth, bubble-free vanilla flan, paired with crispy Mille Feuille dough. A timeless favorite!

3. Sheep’s Milk Yoghurt Ice Cream: Refreshing yoghurt ice cream with a mix of poached, confit, and raw citrus fruits, finished with preserved black lemon and a classic sugar tuile

We’re thrilled to unveil a new experience for every wine lover out there!

Starting this February and running until the end of the year, we’re launching our ‘Sunday Specials’ program at GOTA. Every Sunday, from 5 PM until sold out, we’ll uncork two extraordinary and different expression bottles from the same producer

These rare finds have been carefully saved since day one (almost 3 years now!) in our ‘La Cave du Patron.’
