Buenas noticias! GilBartolome junto a Meta Engineering ha ganado el concurso y ha sido adjudicatario del contrato para elaborar el proyecto y la asistencia técnica de la nueva estación de Montoro en Córdoba para ADIF.

Good news! GilBartolome together with Meta Engineering has won the competition and has been awarded the contract to develop the project and technical assistance of the new Montoro station in Córdoba for ADIF.

GilBartolomé está desarrollando para ADIF, un nuevo proyecto para una base de mantenimiento ferroviaria en la estación de Ronda. Acabamos d eentregar el anteproyecto y estamos ilusionados y con ganas de hacer el mejor edificio posible.

GilBartolomé is developing a new project for ADIF for a railway maintenance base at the Ronda station. We have just delivered the preliminary project and we are excited and eager to make the best building possible.

Nuestra propuesta para la ampliación del aeropuerto de Tenerife Sur, desarrollada junto a SENER y Meta Engineering para AENA, apuesta por reutilizar al máximo los edificios existentes, optimizando y ampliando su funcionamiento y unificandolos bajo una nueva cubierta y una nueva fachada concebidas para mejorar notablemente la experiencia de los pasajeros tanto en salidas como en llegadas al terminal.

Our proposal for the expansion of the Tenerife South airport, developed together with SENER and Meta Engineering for AENA, is committed to reusing the existing buildings as much as possible, optimizing and expanding their operation and unifying them under a new roof and a new façade designed to significantly improve the experience of passengers both in departures and arrivals at the terminal.

Nuestro proyecto para la nueva estación de ferrocarril de Dos Hermanas en Sevilla sigue avanzando, evolucionando y adaptándose a las necesidades y compleja naturaleza de un edificio de transporte. Es un proyecto exigente y que estamos disfrutando con nuestros socios de Meta Engineering y nuestro cliente ADIF.

Our project for the new Dos Hermanas railway station in Seville continues to advance, evolve and adapt to the needs and complex nature of a transport building. It is a demanding project and one that we are enjoying with our partners at Meta Engineering and our client ADIF.

GilBartolomé has just submitted a part of the Detailed Design project for the Camp Nou stadium that we have developed together with Ghesa for Limak and FCB. It has been a great challenge for the team!

Nuestro proyecto para la nueva sede de Hacienda en Cadiz se basa en un sistema de reticula estructural y un sistema de cerramientos flexibles y abiertos que proponen un edificio alegre, organizado en torno a unos espacios exteriores atemperados, con sombra y llenos de vegetación.

Our project for the new headquarters of the Treasury in Cadiz is based on a structural grid system and a system of flexible and open enclosures that propose a cheerful building, organized around temperate outdoor spaces, shaded and full of vegetation.

with a built area of 90.130 sqm and a budget of 410 M€ the renovation of the Gasteig Philarmonie and Cultural Center of Munich was one of the most difficult an ambitous restricted competitons we have taken part in. Our goal was to create a hall with perfect acoustics and we managed to achieve that with the help of Marshall day acoustic engineers. we also wanted to create an open and transparent building that enhanced the public nature of this huge cultural hub in Munich.

Con una superficie construida de 90.130 m2 y un presupuesto de 410 M €, la reforma del Centro Cultural Gasteig y sede de la filarmónica de Munich ha sido uno de los concursos restringidos mas difíciles y ambiciosos en los que hemos participado. Nuestro objetivo era conseguir el auditorio perfecto en términos de acústica y lo conseguimos con la ayuda de Marshall day Engineers. También queríamos crear un edifico abierto y transparente que potenciara el carácter abierto y publico de esta institución y de este enorme edificio cultural.

Una casa de 2.500m2 en el desierto junto al Mar Rojo; concebida como una planta libre cubierta por una estructura libre y con acceso directo al mar.

Nuestra propuesta para transformar las naves 9 y 10 del matadero en sendos edificios culturales se basaba en la inserción de unos nuevos volúmenes totalmente independientes que atravesaban el tejido de los edificios existentes. Hacia dentro alojaban programas específicos y hacia fuera servían de soporte a un sistema de brazos mecánicos y otros elementos robóticos creando un espacio expositivo muy dinámico y contemporáneo.

Our proposal to transform the former slaughterhouse buildings in Madrid into a cultural institution was based in the insertion of new independent architectural volumes crossing through the existing building. Inside those, new programmes were hosted while to the exterior they worked as a support for a family of mechanical arms and other robotic elements that create a very dynamic and contemporary exhibition space.

Una casa de grandes espacios interiores, dobles alturas y terrazas, organizados en una esfera de estructura triangulada atravesada por 3 volúmenes independientes. Además claro, juega con ese icono romántico de la luna y sus reflejos marinos.

A house of large interior spaces, double heights and terraces organized into a sphere of traingulated structure pierced by 3 independent volumes. Of course it also plays with the romantic icon of the moon and its reflections...

Fue un reto y a la vez un proyecto bonito por la parte técnica y estética: el diseño de un parque de olas para surfistas, con villas y diversas zonas de ocio y baño siempre, con la cultura del surf en la cabeza.

It was a challenge and a beautifull project due to the technical and aesthetical aspects: The design of a wavegarden for surfers, with villas and diverse areas for leisure and bath , always with surf culture in mind.

Back in 2011 we recieved a Merit award in the International competition for the New Muesum of Contemporary Art of Taiwan. Our porposal was a submerged building with a coral reef contributing to the structure of the buildings and working as a cementery of carbon dioxide purifying the air of the environment.

En 2011 recibimos un premio en el concurso internacional para el nuevo museo de arte contemporáneo de Taiwan. Nuestra propuesta fue un edificio sumergido con un arrecife de coral que contribuía a la estructura del edificio y funcionaba como un cementerio de dióxido de carbono, purificando el aire del entorno.

A couple of years ago we designed a stage for the Cruilla music festival at the Parc del Forum in Barcelona.
Hace un par de años diseñamos un escenario para el festival Cruilla en el Parc del Forum de Barcelona.

GilBartolome ha diseñado esta promoción de viviendas unifamiliares en Fuengirola que se adaptan a una topografía difícil y por su orientación, se escalonan para llevar la mayor cantidad posible de luz al interior de las vivendas y a las terrazas. El resultado es un objeto complejo en el paisaje pero ante todo una colección de casas volcadas a un exterior luminoso y de vegetacion exhuberante.

GilBartolome has designed this housing development in fuengirola that adapts to a complicated topography. The houses step to bring as much sunlight as possible into the rooms and the terraces. The result is a complex architectural object in the landscape but above all a collection of unique houses open to a bright and exhuberant landscape.

A few years ago, we were awarded a prize in an international competition for a new landmark tower in Taichung. We proposed a big Ferris wheel with an unusual structure and with a smaller building on top that featured two panoramic elevators. A typological perversion but still beautiful and fun.

Hace algunos años obtuvimos un premio en un concurso internacional para diseñar un nueva torre de importancia turística en Taichung. Propusimos una torre que era una enorme noria con una estructura diferente a lo habitual por su tamaño con un edificio encima del cual a su vez arrancaban 2 ascensores panorámicos. Una perversión tipológica, pero aun así bonita y divertida...

El terminal satelite del aeropuerto de Barcelona El Prat en colaboración con RCR Arquitectes, FB Arquitectura, Sener y Meta Engineering aporta muchos valores positivos a la tipología de terminal: en su escala humana, en su integración paisajística y en la calidad ambiental que aporta llevar el bosque mediterraneo al terminal y cubrir un gran espacio publico con un delicado úmbraculo.

The satellite terminal of the Barcelona El Prat airport in collaboration with RCR Arquitectes, FB Arquitectura, Sener and Meta Engineering brings many positive values to the terminal typology: in its human scale, in its landscape integration and in the environmental quality that brings the inclusion of a Mediterranean forest into the terminal and to cover a large public space with a delicate shade.

Esta casa de 2.500m2 ha sido diseñada para maximizar la sensación de apertura al exterior y generar un paisaje interior sofisticado y alegre. Nuestro cliente busca una casa abierta al paisaje y a sus amigos. Esta casa se construye mediante una estructura de hormigón armado en varios niveles que aloja los distintos usos y estancias en distintos niveles, siempre con vistas al paisaje exterior

This 2.500 sqm house is designed to maximize the feeling of openess to the exterior, while creating a cheerful and sophisticated interior landscape. Our client is looking for a house open to the landscape and to their friends. It is created by a multilevel concrete structure that hosts the uses of the house at different levels with astonishing views.

It was a really long and chaotic competition for the new Silvio Petirossi airport in Asunción, Paraguay. All kinds of backs and forwards, an ambiguous brief and the sensation of not having been able to win besides having made a big effort with our partners Ghesa and Airia. The building featured a roof designed to capture sunlight from the south and the dominant south to north winds for natural ventilation. We also proposed a garden at the center of the building which articulates the commercial area.

Fue un largo y muy caótico concurso el del nuevo aeropuerto Silvio Petirossi en Asunción, Paraguay. Todo tipo de vaivenes en el proceso y un pliego confuso, además de la sensación de no haber podido ganar pese a haber hecho un gran esfuerzo con nuestros socios Ghesa y Airia. El edificio proponía una cubierta diseñada para introducir luz natural desde el Sur a la vez que se orientaba y abría a los vientos dominantes de la zona y ventilar el terminal de forma natural. También proponiamos un jardin exterior en el centro del edificio que articulaba la zona comercial y de restauracion del aeropuerto.

This 2500m2 house is designed to maximize the feeling of openess with the use of an ingenuous system in the partition walls by which the upper part of the walls are made of tempered glass and curtains on each side that can slide sideways to allow for extensive views towards all the garden.
The ground floor is developed as a continuous excavated plinth of white rich marble that resembles an ancient stone archaeological remnant. Abovethe plinth. with a 1.2 metres height, emerge steel and glass partition panels that together with reach translucent fabrics and curtains, divide the different rooms of the house.
Like a storm of golden dust, the roof and the different elements that are placed on it (solar panels, lamp shades, decorative elements and other functional elements) are designed so that they reverberate under the light in a thousand of gold arrays.

Esta casa de 2500m2 está diseñada para maximizar la sensación de amplitud mediante el uso de un ingenioso sistema en los tabiques por el cual la parte superior de los muros es de vidrio templado y unas cortinas a cada lado pueden deslizarse lateralmente para permitir amplias vistas hacia todo el jardín.
La planta baja se desarrolla como un zócalo excavado continuo de mármol blanco que se asemeja a un antiguo remanente arqueológico de piedra. Por encima del zócalo. con una altura de 1,2 metros, emergen paneles divisorios de acero y vidrio que junto con telas traslúcidas y cortinas, dividen las diferentes estancias de la casa.
Como una tormenta de polvo dorado, el techo y los diferentes elementos que se colocan sobre él (paneles solares, pantallas de lámparas, elementos decorativos y otros elementos funcionales) están diseñados para que bajo la luz reverberen en mil hileras doradas.

In our project for the New Metropolitan library of Seodaemun in Seoul, the book robotized management system is not hidden in the basement of the building. Instead it creates a fascinating dynamic facade.

En nuestro proyecto para la nueva biblioteca metropolitana de Seodaemun en Seúl, el sistema robotizado de gestión de libros no se oculta en el sotano dle edificio sino que constituye una fascinante fachada dinamica.
