This is Niklas Runesson, the designer of Easy chair for Dusty Deco.

Niklas is a self-taught craftsman/carpenter raised in Småland.

With a legacy from three generations of woodworkers and engineers who were active from 1945-2000 manufacturing turned toy parts, Runesson takes the legacy into the present. Runesson creates his objects freely from his head with simple sketches such as PM. Much of Runesson's inspiration comes from nature but also fragments of the unknown/imagination. A mantra that often comes back when he wants to explain the "friendly creature" feeling, a recurring theme.

We are super happy for our latest Dusty online exclusive launch of the Lisboa Rug, we love the colors, patterns and the high and low effect. The inspiration comes from a floor at a hotel in Lisbon that we feel in love with when visiting the city for a Guns and Roses concert.

Miles Sofa Zebra was born through a collaboration with the Stockholm-based architectural firm . The inspiration for the sofa came from the golden era of Swedish design, the so-called Swedish Grace style.
