This should ensure the pool is warmer during the colder months.

We are back at the villa this week and are finally buying the car and starting work on the pool. Hopefully our private pool will be completed in 6 weeks.

Liver & bacon with mash, veg and onion gravy.
Jackie had roast beef in a giant Yorkshire pudding with mash n veg.
At Quesada fish n chips €12 for both. Bargain and lovely.

We can confirm that from January we have a car that you can use whilst staying with us. It is a small 7 seater. Please be aware that the back 2 seats are best suited for children. This car will be at the villa awaiting your arrival. So you can go shopping, visit beaches and travel around whilst staying at the lux Lets villa.
All you’ll need is a valid license and be over 25 to use. ❤️❤️❤️

❤️ We have some good news for guests. We are buying a 7 seater car 🚙 for use by guests.
We will be leaving this with a car parking company at Alicante airport. So when you land, all you have to do is ring them up and go upstairs to arrivals and collect your car. When returning the car just take it back to arrivals and hand the keys over to the car park people that we use.
It’s that easy. No hassle, no queuing, no booking forms, no stress.
We want you to have a stress free holiday, so we try to ensure all of the things that are a hassle/worry about travelling abroad are taken care of. ❤️

Good news for travellers
As of 20th September, you are no longer required to complete Spains health form to enter the country. However, you are still required to follow the entry requirements as before and I have copied these from the Spain Travel Health website and paste below 👇🏼 But to simplify, if your recovery certificate is over 180 days, you are required to have a negative antigen test within 24 hours before or a negative PCR 72 hours before your arrival in the country.

If your FULL (2 jabs) vaccine certificate is over 270 days from the last jab then the above applies but if you have had the booster, there is no time limit and you are okay to enter without having to have a covid test.

EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE / EU EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATE
An EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) is a digital accreditation issued by the competent authorities of EU countries that a person has a valid vaccination schedule against COVID-19, a diagnostic test has been carried out with negative result or has been recovered from COVID-19.

COVID-19 certificates of vaccination, diagnostic tests or recovery issued by countries with which the EU has established equivalence (EU Equivalent Certificate) will have the same status as an EU DCC. These countries can be consulted on the European Union (EU) website Will open in a new window

Any of these three certificates (vaccination, recovery, diagnostic test) may be used by travellers to enter Spain without the need to complete a health control form, provided that it meets the following criteria:

COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
From 1 February 2022, this will be valid from 14 days after the date of administration of the last dose of the complete vaccination schedule and will be valid up to 270 days from the date of administration of that last dose. The vaccination certificate with a complete schedule for people under 18 years of age does not have an expiration date.
Thereafter, in order to be valid, the vaccination certificate must reflect the administration of a booster dose. These certificates will be considered valid since the day the booster dose was administered.
Any vaccine authorised by the European Union (European Medicines Agency, EMA) Will open in a new window and WHO Will open in a new window will be accepted. Certificates with vaccines not authorised by these agencies are also acceptable, but the last dose administered must be of one of the authorised vaccines. Complete vaccination schedules are defined as those established in the COVID-19 Vaccination Strategy in Spain Will open in a new window .

Certificate of a diagnostic test for SARSCoV2 with negative result. The following diagnostic tests shall be admissible:
NAAT- nucleic acid amplification tests (e.g.: RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, TMA, HAD, NEAR, CRISPR, SDA), with sampling within the previous 72 hours to departure to Spain.

A COVID-19 Recovery certificate: Recovery certificates issued at least 11 days after the first positive NAAT or antigen tests, and up to a maximum of 180 days after the date of sampling, are accepted as valid. Will open in a new window , and must have been performed by healthcare professionals. Passengers with a Recovery Certificate other than an EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent must also provide documentary proof of the diagnostic test from which the Recovery Certificate is derived.

Jackie had tandoori chicken, lanb karahi and garlic Nann.
Total bill including 2 beers, popadom and pickle tray €26.90.

The Little Getaway.
The villa is a 3 bedroom detached villa. It has fantastic views of the golf course and is close to all amenities. It has its own bar and lots of outdoor areas including a roof top solarium. Access is via a private road that is not a through road. So it is a very peaceful location.
Smart TV’s and 1000mb fibre optic internet along with access to all sky tv and sports channels. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and accessories.
All rooms have aircon and ceiling fans.
Luxury bedding and towels are all provided and beds made up for arrival.
All you need is your suitcase and a toothbrush. 😊
We can also help with pick ups and drop offs to and from the airport. Car rental etc.
