📝 Ban de l'Alcaldessa de Sitges amb motiu de Santa Tecla

La Festa Major continua per Santa Tecla. A Sitges, la completem celebrant la nostra compatrona en un mes de setembre que sempre ens aporta sensacions diferents a Sant Bartomeu. El dia ja s’escurça, la calor minva i els visitants ja no són els de l’agost. Amb tot, les sitgetanes i els sitgetans gaudim tant de Santa Tecla com de Sant Bartomeu.

La nostra Santa Tecla, a més, té un component familiar fonamental, amb la participació dels infants a les concentracions, exhibicions i a la matinal. El futur està a les seves mans, però Santa Tecla ens dóna l’oportunitat de modelar conjuntament aquest futur. Són dies de treball familiar i amb les colles per tal de crear o arreglar aquell drac, aquells gegants o aquella àliga de casa. Són també setmanes de transmissió de coneixements entre els integrants adults dels balls populars i el seu planter. És entre totes les persones que hem viscut i que vivim la Festa Major que aconseguim transmetre-la a les següents generacions, amb devoció i respecte però també amb alegria i entusiasme.

Com a part de la Festa Major, per Santa Tecla també haurem de fer lluir la celebració com cal i com ens reconeix la Generalitat de Catalunya amb el títol de Festa Patrimonial d’Interès Nacional. Tornarem a viure aquest final d’estiu i aquesta entrada a la tardor als carrers, amb música, amb balls, amb foc i amb l’esperit cívic de comunitat que ens fa ser qui som.

We can now confirm the line-up for our rescheduled Sitges Comedy Club night at the Queenz Dinner Show Restaurant for WEDS 26 JULY! Tickets already purchased for 12 July are valid for 26 JULY (unless you have contacted us for a refund). There is also a 10% discount available when you book for groups of 4 or more - but hurry as there are a limited number of these group tickets, and our last show was a sell-out!

We have FOUR excellent comedians performing in English this time: Tricia Audette (Canada), Ben Pabla (UK), Mariah Girouard (USA) and Harris Fellman (USA) - and Harris will also be entertaining you with his unique magic! All that, plus regular hosts Chris Groves and Tim Parfitt.

Tickets are just €12.50, including a free drink (wine, cava or beer), with the 10% discount for bookings of four or more people! Queenz will again be serving delicious tapa-style dishes for those who would like to eat during the show. Doors will open at 8pm with the show starting at 8.30pm.
