Groups are a great way to learn Spanish. Interacting with each other. Talk to us about our groups in your area.

Part of our classes is learning the rooms in the house. Why? Well if you have to repair something or call and arrange to have something repaired, it is a good idea to know what the furniture and appliances are called.

Learning the names of herbs and spices is all part of our class "In the Kitchen" it is important to learn how to ask for these. Some are in the street markets and some are in prepared bags. Mijas Village indoor market has a great selection of spices and the prices are amazing. This one is ginger. Jengibre. Great for a morning detox drink with a slice of lemon in warm water (not boiling) and the end of a teaspoon of honey.

Traveling around Spain is a great pastime and many of my students go away for long weekends or 2 week trips to see this beautiful country. Where is your favourite place in Spain?

Some of my students learn to keep their minds active. Over the years retired and elderly students have picked up a lot on the way, however, they tell me that studying, practicing and attending classes keeps them young. How amazing is that? My students range from all ages, my eldest student is 84.

In our classes, we learn how to order in a bar or restaurant. How to explain allergies and things we don´t like and prefer? yes, we have it covered.

In our class "let´s go shopping for clothes" we learn how to ask about the material, what it is made of, how to exchange an item, and ask about sizing. Our classes are designed to live and work in Spain.

It is vital to learn the parts of the body in Spanish. We cover this in a class that we call "going to a health specialist" this is where you will learn to tell the doctor how you feel, what is wrong with you and about your history.

Living and working in Spain can be so much fun, but with a good knowledge of the Spanish language, things can be so much easier. Don´t wait 10 years to start learning, do it now and you will never look back.

To visit Granada, you have to book in advance. September and October are great times to visit, the weather is cooler and there are less tourists.

Don´t wait any longer, if you live and work in Spain, or only visit Spain, it is a really good idea to have a basic idea of the language. If you live in Spain you are able to integrate with locals and be part of your community......because you can converse and get to know people easier.
