¡Vive la magia de la Virgen del Carmen en Torremolinos! ✨
Cada 16 de julio, el barrio de La Carihuela se convierte en el corazón de Torremolinos para celebrar la festividad de la Virgen del Carmen, patrona de los marineros ⚓️
Esta tarde, a las 19h, en la Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Carmen de La Carihuela dará comienzo la procesión de la Virgen del Carmen acompañada por la Banda de Música Cruz de Humilladero y se dirigirá a la playa del Rincón del Sol, donde se celebrará una misa marinera a las 21h. El momento culminante llega a las 21:45h con el embarque de la virgen y su posterior paseo por la costa bendiciendo las aguas de Torremolinos hasta desembarcarla a las 22:15h y después de una oración marinera continuará con la procesión a lo largo del Paseo Marítimo de La Carihuela. Regalando a todos los presentes un espectáculo conmovedor y lleno de fervor.
Desde las 21h se podrá disfrutar del Parque de Atracciones en la Plaza del Remo y, a partir de las 22h, de diversas actuaciones.

Live the magic of the Virgen del Carmen in Torremolinos! ✨
Every year on the 16th of July, the neighbourhood of La Carihuela becomes the heart of Torremolinos to celebrate the festivity of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of sailors ⚓️
This evening, at 7pm, the procession of the Virgen del Carmen, accompanied by the Cruz de Humilladero Music Band, starts from the same parish church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen in La Carihuela and goes to the Rincón del Sol beach, where a seafaring mass is celebrated at 9pm. The highlight comes at 9:45pm with the embarkation of the Virgin and her subsequent walk along the coast, blessing the waters of Torremolinos, until she disembarks at 10:15pm and, after a seafaring prayer, continues her procession along the Promenade of La Carihuela. Giving all those present a moving spectacle full of fervour.
From 9pm you will be able to enjoy the Amusement Park in the Plaza del Remo, and, from 10pm, various performances.
We are waiting for you in La Carihuela to honour our patron saint and enjoy an unforgettable day in Torremolinos!

Our Story
This local restaurant first opened its doors in 2001, and your hosts Karen and Mark, along with their kitchen and front of house teams, have been offering a warm welcome to regulars and tourists ever since. The Carvery is well known for its good quality fresh food, excellent service and comfortable surroundings.
Offering a selection of roasted meats including delicious roast beef, ham, turkey, lamb and pork with all the trimmings. There is a wide choice of freshly prepared seasonal vegetables, roast and mashed potatoes and the best Yorkshire puddings. The menu offers a range of starters including classic prawn cocktail, goat’s cheese and beetroot salad, Caesar salad and Norwegian smoked salmon. Main courses include Argentinian Angus sirloin steak, traditional fish & chips and delicious salads. Save room for home-made puddings including crème brulee, summer fruit pudding and Pavlova to name a few (change daily).
The restaurant is light and airy, with air conditioning throughout, and offers a beautiful naturally lit glassed in terrace that gives you the feeling of sitting outside whilst remaining cool. This room is perfectly situated for private parties, everything from golf dinners, family celebrations, small weddings and more. The recent move has allowed for a comfortable bar where guests can enjoy a drink before or after dinner, or just pop in for a glass of wine and bar snack.
