Wow! It's blowing some wind out there! We have stacked our outside tables and chairs for safety, but we are still open tonight for our fun Friday quiz and food and drink in the front bar 😊 We still have a table available for the quiz if you'd like to shelter from the weather and have a good laugh, otherwise we have availability just to sit in the warm and treat yourself to our delicious chicken and more! Hi everyone, happy Friday! We are super busy tonight, with a private function in the front bar and a fully booked quiz in the back room, so we will have no indoor seating available until 7.30pm. Please let us know if you are coming down this evening so we can do our best to accommodate you after this. Hello to all our followers, hope you are having a lovely week! In case you haven't seen, one of the local rescues has had an influx of new dogs and cats to look after, and is asking for assistance from anyone who is able :) We have just dropped off €304.50 raised by Leon and Naomi at our weekly quiz, and we will be looking at other ways we can help going forward. If you have any spare change or spare time, I'm sure they will be very happy for the help!

As you will know, Paws-Patas has undertaken a monumental task in recent days, taking in over 100 new animals as part of an emergency situation.

The phenomenal effort by our amazing team of dedicated volunteers has been nothing short of awe-inspiring to help us build and fit new spaces and welcome these dogs and cats into our care.

Also, the response of donations of items from individuals and businesses has been beyond words and a heartwarming testament to the care and compassion within our community.

But this is only the beginning. We have already had to invest significant amounts of our funds into our new facilities required for this operation and our daily costs of nutrition, water, veterinary attention, medication and overall care for our new residents are mounting.

We recognise that there are financial pressures within every household but anything you may be able to contribute will truly make a difference to our new fur-residents who, together with ourselves, will be eternally grateful 🙏
